What a gem of a place- fast, big portions and locally owned. Their homemade warm pita bread is outstanding!

Visiting West Seattle and decided to try this place on a whim. It was so good! We got rice bowls with falafel and beef gyro, sides of pita, hummus, and dolmas. Everything was very tasty!

We had Falafal Salam cater our wedding this weekend and we cannot express in a google review how amazing they were. All night long we were being told how incredible the food was, how amazing Shimi and his team were being and how cool the food truck was!
I cannot recommend falafal salam more for any event. They were amazing at communicating and I cannot stress this enough, the food was DIVINE. Thank you Shimi!!!

My wife and I have been Falafel Salam customers for ~5 years now, we've given so much business to this place. We used to love it here, and really want to continue loving it, but just can't put up with it anymore.
For one, portions have gone down, and prices have gone up.
There's almost never an occasion where something isn't missed from the order, whether it's requested sauces, the halva being actually included in the halva mouse, or even dishes missing all together.
Worst of all, the food quality has just gone down tremendously, at least at the West Seattle location. This past order, there was an issue with every single dish: the rice was so dry it was inedible, pita was mushy/undercooked (on another occasion it was actual raw dough on the inside!), the falafel was cold soft and dry, the shawarma was dry and overcooked, and the hummus was bland and not even fully blended, the halva cloud was made without halva and provided that way without warning, the garlic fries were cold and literally soft/soggy/drenched in oil with little to no feta on top, and red/green schug not included in order. It was a total disaster, and for a pretty penny too. All of the dishes came cold or lukewarm at best.
Really sad to see this place go from a weekly favorite to feeling like a complete inedible waste of money.

Great place to get falafel and gyros. Super friendly service and fast too. Lots of food, great portion sizes. I highly recommend and would come back. One of the best garlic fries I’ve had too! Very fresh and delicious.

I probably won’t go back. The food wasn’t really worth the price. I got the chicken shawarma rice bowl which was pretty small and all the meat/rice had been sitting out for a while. Good thing was no wait, but it tasted stale.
Shawarma was more like stewed chicken (heavy on the turmeric) not baked or spit roasted like I expected. The bowls don’t come with any bread which seemed odd for an Arab style meal. Paid extra for a side of “Arab pickles” but it was just a couple slices of pickled cucumbers, no other veggies.
They have beer but no tea or coffee. Just not really what I’m looking for in a halal Arab restaurant.

Can't really go wrong here. Every combo I've tried has been delish. Do yourself a favor and get the classic fallafel gyro at least once--their in house pita pockets are perfect. Also the garlic fries with extra aioli are a must.

Not sure how their weird bread is considered a pita.

Fun atmosphere, big servings, reasonable prices! I got the falafel pita old fashioned.

Average, really my only gripe would be fairly heavy on the veggies, but prefer your fries and gyro style vs. The other place with small fries and square pocket.
