Great place. It is owned and served by a nice lovely couple. The food is plenty for the price. Meats are halal as well.

I only had the vegetation/vegan option the lentil soup, it was delicious and filling :)

I agree with what the other reviewers have mentioned. A generous portion, very very friendly and accommodating owners.

Incredibile food with very generous portions. The couple running this cafe are very friendly and make everything themselves. I stumbled upon this place at random and am so happy that I did!

Delicious. Tried the lentil soup and kookoo sabzi; both felt like reasonable value for the market.

I went here off peak, so was able to easily order and get seating. The food took a few minutes to be ready, but it was definitely worth it!

I will come back.

AHA

As an Iranian, this place was terrible — I can’t even describe how disappointing it was! My friends and I traveled to Seattle for a week, and this was by far the worst food we had during our trip.

We ordered Ghormeh Sabzi and Zereshk Polo with Chicken. The Ghormeh Sabzi was more like Ash (soup) than a proper stew, and the chicken was more like Joojeh (grilled chicken) instead of chicken thigh as it should be.

When we complained about the food, the staff were rude and dismissive, saying, “That’s how it is — we can’t do any better.”
They even admitted that the Ghormeh Sabzi they served us was cooked the day before, not freshly made that day.

Maybe this place is fine for foreigners who don’t know real Persian food, but for Iranians, it’s truly terrible.
There were no steel forks or spoons — only plastic ones — and the tables and chairs were really uncomfortable.

Honestly, I’m ashamed that they use the name Farvahar for their restaurant. It doesn’t deserve it.

برای ایرانی های عزیز: اگر میخواین پولتون دور بریزین و یک غذای به معنی واقعی آشغال بهتون بدن میتونین برین امتحان کنین.

Chicken kebab was very flavorful and tender. The lamb burger and hummus were excellent too. They have lemonade with a hint of rose-water(?) which was a hidden gem.

The people behind the counter were very nice and even gave us a bowl of water for our dog :)

Unfortunately the food was of low quality, held no flavor, and lacked any resemblance of persian food. The people were quite nice and wonderful, but I would recommend improving the quality and flavor of the food. All the best. مرسی.

We came here to try Persian food. The Ghorme Sabzi was amazing!! The flavor of the first bite was mind blowing good. Where has this been all my life ! It doesn’t look like anything outstanding just looking at it, but the taste is what says it all. We also had the salad and lentil soup. I will definitely order this again. The staff was very friendly. You have to try this hidden gem

Good kabobs, quick service with a smile from the pretty lady taking the orders. It is a little hard to find but worth the effort if you are in the mood for Persian food.

Absolutely a hidden gem. It’s hard to find Persian restaurants that have fesenjoon (chicken stewed with walnut and pomegranate molasses) on the menu. It’s often a dish that’s made in the comfort of home. My partner and I got that and the zereskh polo. The chicken was tender and the rice light and fluffy. The baklava was also gently spiced and aromatic, instead of the sometimes all too trite overpoweringly sweet. Will be coming back, especially in the rainy winter!

A gem tucked in Pike Market. Had the lamb burger and it was perfect cooked. Also saw some folks on a food tour getting a sample of chicken kabob and seemed to have enjoyed it.
