Absolutely a hidden gem. It’s hard to find Persian restaurants that have fesenjoon (chicken stewed with walnut and pomegranate molasses) on the menu. It’s often a dish that’s made in the comfort of home. My partner and I got that and the zereskh polo. The chicken was tender and the rice light and fluffy. The baklava was also gently spiced and aromatic, instead of the sometimes all too trite overpoweringly sweet. Will be coming back, especially in the rainy winter!
The place is inside a building and a bit hard to find at first, but totally worth it. There aren’t many tables, so we grabbed our sandwiches to go (2 kebab, 1 kuku sabzi) and ate by the waterfront. The food was insanely good—some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The guy running the place was super nice and friendly. Definitely recommend checking it out!
Fantastic slightly hidden gem just off the main drag of Pikes a place.
The dishes are VERY flavorful, including the salad that accompanies each plate.
And the very nice owners are there greeting you and making sure you're satisfied.
Go there, you won't be disappointed
