This was my home away from home while my daughter was 1-2 before Covid started. They have amazing food and coffee and are so kind. I would go to the kids play area and chill and read while my daughter played quietly by herself.During Covid I made it my life mission to keep this place afloat. They have a drive through so almost every day on my way to work, I'd drive up and get a quad-shot mocha and a sausage bagel sandwich.I would share their business on the Ballard Facebook page like every other week, just reminding people they did not need to wait in line at Starbucks, just go down a few blocks and support a local business. The owner is a nice Asian lady and is SO kind and sweet. We would chat a bit after I had been going for quite some time. They did have a difficult time staying open during Covid but were able to be the small business support from the gov.I miss this place the most having moved to Oregon two years ago.Parking: Small lot of about seven spaces, don't park on the other side as it belongs to the other business.Kid-friendliness: Small kids room with a few buckets of toys.
Wanted to try something different in Ballard. Poor service (got my order wrong, twice), mediocre coffee (bitter), Kirkland brand soy milk (cheap), elevator music. I'll stick with Ballard Coffee Works.

We visit this coffee shop often, and I absolutely love the family room with toys for children. Custom local lighthouse coffee, with delicious lattes. Clean bathrooms with a key to change children.Updated, comfortable chairs and tables for any body type to fit. Cozy and clean. It's one of our favorites. I highly recommend if you're looking for a safe place to eat, drink, and play with your family.Their sandwiches are great! Unfortunately, there is no gluten bread. But, it's still a fantastic location across from New ballard Troll.Vegetarian options: All you have to do is ask.Kid-friendliness: Cute, family playroom with tables and chairs. 2 highchairs! And toys, books and games. Inviting space!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp for wheelchairs and strollers.
Sandwich was good. I wish for $14 I could of had more than 6 potatoe

Stopped in for my first time because I was working in the neighborhood. Amazing, quality espresso, my coffee was fabulous. The staff is really warm and inviting. It's out of my way but I'll definitely make a point to come back. :)
Was okay. Chai was good. Felt a little unwelcome but overall wasn't a bad place.

Cozy, affordable coffeehouse. I got the breakfast burrito and it was decent for $8. Great option if you want something cheap, fast, and good, and don't want to cook. Cafe is surprisingly large with lots of seating available on a late Sunday morning. Very well-staffed and friendly service too, which makes a difference! Definitely coming back here when I want something good and cheap :)

The staff are all so friendly. Regardless of how busy they are, the workers make you feel welcome. Each one learned what I like to order after a couple of trips so that’s such a nice little touch.

Great cold brew that's not too strong. Good milk options. Nice ambiance with quiet instrumental music playing softly. Attentive staff. Only one gluten free pastry left by 9am tho lol.
