Incredibly cozy, calm, and unique. The circular layout makes it feel snug but not constricting, and wood paneling/similar accents really give it a comfortable vibe. Service was excellent, albeit slightly slow; this may have been intentional, nothing here seems rushed. Definitely coming back

We had afternoon tea in the fireside room and were very disappointed. The food itself was the biggest problem. One little round cucumber sandwich and 2 triangles of bread with toppings (not even a full sandwich!), plus small scone, mini cupcake, and very small coconut macaroon about the size of a quarter. The tower came out looking like they forgot to fill it, including the tiny cucumber sandwich by itself on the middle of the bottom plate all alone. The scone was already sweet and was not served with butter or clotted cream nor was either offered. We left hungry.
Service was friendly but inattentive, we never had cream or lemon offered with our tea and had to flag someone down for more hot water. Not worth $55 and such a let down to what should have been a festive holiday outing.

I attended Hotel Sorrento’s Witches Tea and it was spooktacular! 👻🍵🧙🏼♀️🔮🫖 The Halloween spirit was alive in the air (thanks fog machine and piano-playing skeleton), and the decor added to the experience! Several people were dressed up to compliment the witchy theme. The tea and treats were tasty, and the service was hospitable. Crafty cocktails were available for purchase from the bar. After tea, I recommend the exploring the *spirited* hotel…if you dare! 🖤

Dinner was very good and we did not have to wait long for food or beverages. We had a new server who did a fine job with the exception of trying to remove a plate with food on it prior to checking with the person's whose plate it was. We chalked this up to wanting to be efficient knowing that additional food was on it's way. We would definitely return.
It was quiet for breakfast, and our service was prompt, positive and gracious. We had the Stella breakfast and the Stella omelet, both were good although my potatoes had a slight used oil fishy taste. Only negative from the experience other than the bill which was very spendy
We have had better visits in the past, but this one did not hit the mark. Service was not great, food was just okay, and though we had booked for the fireside room months ago, we were seated in the bar due to a private event in the fireside. Seemed there was plenty of time for them to reach out and let us know.
Stella. Was nice. The food was good and there was a piano being played. Server would not look at my date and directed everything to me. We joked and said she was a ghost because no one but me could see her or would talk to her.
Food was very good, however the service left a LOT to be desired. We were sat in the fireplace room. This is a room where patrons are sent to DIE. it took almost 15 minutes to get.our drinks but our dinner service took all of about 10 mins. Our soup came out first, about 3 mi s later our salads. I wasn't 3 bites into my salad, and they delivered my entire. NOBODY came by the table to ask if I needed pepper for my Ceasar, nor did anyone ask if I wanted parmesian for my pasta. I had to go to the Valet attendant to get him to track down our waiter. Anyway, as I said food was very good, but service NO
Beautiful patio and wonderful service. Shoutout to Xan for taking great care of my party and putting up with us! Definitely order the fries, but don't get the scallops (cooked well, but had sandy grainy bits and were surprisingly weird textured like wetpacked scallops). Drinks were strong and delicious.
Excellent food. Large Caesar Salad and outstanding prawns and pasta. Share the salad and order your own main. Lots f orders were mixed up this visit, couldn't tell if it was the servers fault or not. We will go back.

Love this restaurant! The outdoor patio is so lovely; fresh cut flowers on all the tables, a big fire pit, festoon lights, and a great menu. I've been a couple of times and always have a good experience. Our server, Xan, was awesome - great customer service. Highly recommend!
Wonderful cocktails and food. My Mai Thai was fabulous-not sweet with excellent quality rum. My daughter and I had the Caesar salad, diver scallops, and spaghetti alla Norma. We had the cannoli and passion fruit panna cotta for dessert. Everything was fantastic and our server was very helpful in helping us choose our selections. Lovely atmosphere and dining experience for a special night out.
this place had potential to be great! unfortunately they just didnt have enough staff. Their waiter was also the bartender and things took forever. I overhward him saying theyve had lots of turnover to another guest. We were there for two drinks and two dishes and it took 2.5 hours. The bucatini pasta also came out kind of cold and bland.
Such a a beautiful location and yet the service was very underwhelming. I felt bad for the server. He was so nice but he had eight tables. He was the only server outside and everything was so slow after an hour we finally got our drinks and appetizers. We decided to leave and go elsewhere for dinner.
We ate in the bar area of the Stella restaurant inside the Hotel Sorrento. This 1909 building on the National Register of Historic Places has special details.l you don't see in many buildings these days. Attention to detail was superb.
