Owner was changed last 3 months, don’t judge strong this place !!
I think Seattle needs this type of small authentic type of food, Kirgiz nomadic style food , like ancient kurut or Kurt Samsa or somsa , soup lagman, and plov, manty , and more real national I think Gingisgchan epoch food !!

The food was amazing!!!!! Omg, the fried dumplings were life changing, they were so good!!! The chicken fettuccine was great as well, but the fried dumplings oh my goodness. The service was amazing, they were incredibly kinda and checked in but not overbearing, I will definitely be back. There was also parking on the side which was great. My only quip is that their website says halal eats but many of their dishes look like they have pork so I am a bit confused if their food is halal or not. Otherwise, so good!

I ordered a pick-up from Fitchi, and it was amazing! The chicken fettuccine and chicken pesto pizza were both delicious – fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. You can tell they use quality ingredients and care about their food. The customer service was also excellent; the staff was friendly and efficient when I picked up my order. Highly recommend Fitchi for anyone craving tasty dishes with great service!"

This place is a gem! The food is not only halal but also incredibly flavorful, I loved every bite and can’t wait to come back again (and again!). The kitchen is spotless, maybe even the cleanest I’ve ever seen, which really stood out to me. Plus, the staff are super friendly and respectful, making you feel right at home. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal!

I hate posting non-positive reviews for small businesses but really hard to recommend this place to anyone. The service is really slow and food is mid at best with confusingly small portions. Ordered the most popular legman (beef noodle), kazaana kabab, and plov. All had really small portion sizes (less than half of a regular portion size at any restaurant), with handful of meat and worst was we had to wait over 30 mins after ordering even though it was empty.
The samsa was the only decent item taste wise, rest were really average and kind of bland. And just sucks when you pay over $30 for dinner that doesn't fill you up at all.
Hope they can improve their service and portions. Good luck!

Come on man

This place is an actual scam. ordered a meatball sub and a bbq chicken calzone. The "meatball sub" had less than 1 single meatball on it chopped up on a hot dog bun and the calzone was only ricotta and maybe 6 cubes of chicken. No bbq sauce or anything else stated on the menu. The food or lack there of also smelled absolutely foul. The food was also about 45 minutes late. When I called to ask for a refund they hung up and wouldn't answer when I tried to call back.

Delicious baking smells and bright decor with camels and mountains drew us in–to a surprise, the first & maybe only restaurant in the Seattle area with Kyrgyzstani and other Central Asian food. Its namesake is a Turkmen pie, made-to-order by Kyrgyz women chefs. A young Central Asian guy, waiting for a to-go order, taught us a traditional way to eat it: Pry off the top crust, tear it in pieces and use them to scoop the juicy beef into your mouth. Then eat the bottom crust, which is yummy from soaking up the meat’s flavor. Psst, once you order a fitchi, watch how the chefs shape the crust.

Samsas, flaky Kyrgyz hand pies filled with chicken or beef, and Uyghur lagman, toothsome hand-pulled noodles with onions, bell peppers and beef, were also good (though not as fun to eat).

Fitchi’s menu is at least half pizza and Italian pasta, a carryover from its prior, Turkmeni owner. The Kyrgyzstani entrepreneur who recently bought the restaurant hopes to focus more on Central Asian home cuisine. We’re all for that!

This is the first, and probably only review I will ever write, but this place was too good to stay quiet about.
I grew up in a place where multi-cultural family owned restaurants with GOOD food (which was also extremely affordable) were the norm. In this way, I've been extremely disappointed in the Wallingford area. This place, however - THIS PLACE - just hits the spot.
I've never had Fitchi or Samsa before, and this was the perfect place to start. First of all, the little meat pies/pockets were GORGEOUS to look at. I almost couldn't bring myself to eat them because I didn't want to destroy these lovingly baked little pieces of art! Yet, after my first bite...they were both gone in about five minutes.
How can I properly describe the sheer child-like joy that comes from biting into a warm, juicy meat pie, unleashing the aroma of onions and spices with every salivating bite? I guess I just did. Did I mention the juice? As you eat, you get delicious little trickles of this hearty beef and onion broth that stews inside of the pie while baking, gradually warming your whole body - it's freaking heavenly on a cold night.
Sounds like quite the expensive dining experience, right? WRONG, this place was incredibly affordable! For around 11$ plus tip and a drink, I was absolutely stuffed. I had a beef fitchi and a chicken samsa, and either one alone was enough for one whole meal.
Will I be going back for more? Yes, absolutely. Tonight. This morning. The next day - heck, I'd sleep in the oven if they'd let me. Nestled amongst those warm, delectable little meat pies, letting their heavenly aroma carry me off into my dreams.

Kid-friendliness: The owner's kids were playing in the dining area while their parents took a meal break - couldn't have made me more comfortable, as a person accustomed to eating in family owned places. Very relaxed and welcoming vibe.

Overall is good experience except : we received 3 small slices of meat in lagman, the portion could be a bit bigger for $20. Second, I didn’t like the fact that they charge extra dollars for non-cash transaction without acknowledging customer. Otherwise the food was good

They say they normally sell plov after 2 o'clock. I called and they said it would be ready at 3 or 4 o'clock. I went at 4.5 past. Then they said maybe we can do it in 40 minutes or 1 hour. They work in a ridiculous way.
