I highly recommend Wildflour/Flying Apron! We placed a custom bulk order with them for a gathering with GF guests, but the West Seattle location unfortunately closed between when we'd placed our order and when we'd scheduled pickup - and we didn't realize until the day of the event! Jay (the owner-operator) worked with us to assemble an alternate bundle of delicious GF and vegan treats from the Bellevue location. He helped us sort through the mix-up and went above and beyond to help the event go off without a hitch. We are so thankful for his kindness and incredible customer service so we could still serve GF goodies to our guests!

My family is thrilled to have access to these lovely and tastey foods. Lot of good ratings. Although I am sad a couple people are posting negative in regard to vegan options. Please do not ruin it for those of us looking for gluten free; vegan is nice too but let's think about the health of a business. Let's encourage them to add back more vegan/plant-based selections, without the damaging posts. You okay with this??? I love their foods, but definitely we will encourage vegan/plant based additions to accommodate our environmental/ethical convictions.

Kid-friendliness: They always provide me with a reason to smile.

GLUTEN free that tastes even better than traditional baked goods - WOW! Celiac's are thrilled and no longer left out. Now from the standpoint of a non-celiac; in my household we have no gluten due to my partner suffering from Celiac Disease. Now I can bring into our abode lovely baked goods. Gotta call out your GF/vegan cider donuts. Undeniably scrumptious! Thank you so much.

Flying Apron was a dedicated gluten free vegan shop, but has recently merged with another shop. There are still many options for gluten free and vegan, but you'll have to check labels and ask if you're unsure.

Patries are very heavy with flour and dry. Coffee tastes burnt. Service is very messy. Would not recommend.

Dietary restrictions: GFV donuts, cookies and crumbles

So sad to see their vegan options dwindle. Especially savory options like their pizza and lasagna. They got bought by a company that's keeping everything gluten free but now not everything is vegan.

I got a gluten-free cake and some other products. Phenomenal service and quality of food, I wish more companies would operate like Flying Apron.

The pricing is great. Not a lot of breakfast food options. The staff was super pleasant and inviting.

Got a delicious 9 inch gluten free dairy free cake here for my sisters engagement . Absolutely scrumptious everyone loved it the Costco sheet cake was not touched lol. It was vanilla with lemon frosting and raspberry filling - soo moist and tasty and beautiful frosting

The treats we picked up from here were all decent. The flavors were great but the muffin was a little undercooked on the bottom and the cookie texture was a bit lacking. With these prices ($4 a cookie), I would expect a higher quality.

Located at the intersection of California and Alaska in the West Seattle junction, the Flying Apron (based on just one visit) is a garden variety overpriced coffee shop. I visited on a warm Saturday and was happy to see not much of a line. They have a good looking pastry/bake case. I chose poorly; a blueberry scone that was nothing more than a smooshed hunk of undercooked dough. Avoid it. When ordering coffee there is no effective process in place for getting the order from cashier to the coffee maker, (trust me, mine was no barista). I ordered a soy latte. I got a luke-warm milk latte with that big amateurish foam. There was no pride in that cup of coffee. Including the ridiculous Seattle “gratuity,” my order was north of $12.00. I expect to edit this post at some point because I don’t believe one can provide a meaningful review based on one visit. However, so far, the Flying Apron is a dud and the coffee guy needs training, better manners and a desire to make a $6.50 coffee drink with care.

They have basically 0 vegan stuff now. Got bought out by a gluten free company. Vegan options seem totally gone aside from a couple pastries. Disappointing. Super nice staff though.
