This place was really good. We got 2 plates full of sushi. It's worth a try. So try it.

great value, super yummy food - highly recommend! The workers are super friendly and the self serve bar was easy/fast. I stopped by here during my trip to Seattle and was so happy I did! We ended up spending only about $17 for 12 peices total. I really wish this restaurant had more locations!!

i love fob poke bar, and i love sushi, so i knew i had to check their new sushi bar out! i came in during open time on a wednesday and there was already a line of people. they were still setting up but the service was quick since it is self serve. ive never seen such a diverse selection of beautifully presented sushi! and it was high quality, delicious, and so affordable. just over $1 per piece.

stopped by FOB on a Monday, and the line was out the door!! the store itself looks super clean and organized. the sushi is constantly being replenished by staff, so you're never getting old sushi sitting out. I absolutely loved the rolls I got, I'd come here again to get a tray of just rolls. the nigiri was okay, the fish isn't omakase level fresh but it's not bad if you're craving some plain fish pieces. for my two full trays, I paid $30 exactly

Sushi by the pound? So cool! At $14.99/lb I would say this place has my heart. FOB sushi has so many choices to choose from, I had choice anxiety. Everything just looked so delicious. My packed tray came to be just a little under a pound so paid about $15. Street parking can be a little tough but Amazon Doppler parking garage is just a little over a 5-min walk. You'll be seeing me back here in no time!

I was EXTREMELY skeptical of a pay by the weight sushi place but the photos looked SO good and all the rave reviews had me intrigued. I was running some errands nearby and was in a dire need for a quick lunch. I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and this place was BOPPING. The trays when I first walked in looked bare but the staff did an amazing job bringing out replenishing trays! I really enjoyed that the give you a tong vs. have a messy tong for each roll/sushi piece. I did a little medley of both sushi, inari, and jazzified rolls and in total I got 8 pieces which came to 0.75 lb - all said and done, it ended up being ~$15 with tax and tip! Now to the good part - I absolutely LOVED every piece and it ended up being the most delightful lunch I have had out in quite some time! I cannot believe the quality of the sushi as well as the rolls. The staff were also so sweet and I am amazed by the quality and taste of this place. I am kind of glad I don't work near here or I would be here every day for lunch. This is definitely out of my way but I can't wait to come back when the next sushi craving hits which will be soon. YUM!!! I am so pleased with this experience!

Food is good, service is good. Environment is good too. I would come back if I'm nearby. But not really of I need to drive from east side.

I didn't want to review this bc I don't want more people finding out about it lol but this place is incredible I can't believe there aren't more sushi bars around. What an amazing idea! The employees are very on top of replacing the new rolls but sometimes you do have to wait a few minutes for more to come out. Only complaint is it's really warm in there, everytime i've gone we have to take our coats off the minute we are inside and were sweating getting our rolls. this might be because it's also extremely cramped as the bar is very close to the front door there is not much room to form a line and people are right on top of you. Overall great concept, just try to go not at peak hours for a better experience. This business would do really well in a bigger place with more seating for people.

My friend and I went here to see if this place lives up to the hype and yep, sure does! When you walk in, the smell of sushi vinegar is everywhere and you know it's legit when it smells like a sushi bar. We trickled in a few minutes after 12 and no one was there basically. Then around 12:10 we look at the front entrance and there's a line. Unbelievable. This was mid week. So basically, if you want to be a pro I'd say skip out on the heavier weighted things. The shrimp filled inari roll looks good but it weighed a lot and wasn't out of this world so I'd skip it next time since it weighed more. Also, note that they put the sushi rolls FIRST then the end of the line you see all the nigiri. I would definitely load up on the yellowtail and salmon nigiri because that's probably the best bang for your buck. My nigiri plate came out to around $12 something and the sushi one was roughly $13 something. If you're just talking price point, I got 8 pieces (mainly nigiri) for almost $13. That's about $1.63 per piece (cheap Asian here doing the calculations) and normally salmon nigiris are like $2.50-$3 per piece for higher quality so it's a steal! Please keep your prices this way and don't inflate. This isn't cheap either but I'd say reasonable for the quality of fish. I'd definitely come back again. Great concept. Wish yall can bring this to downtown Bellevue. It would be a hit. PS - free spicy mayo sauce too!!!

Fresh, quick, pick your own sushi and get charged for what you want. $14.99 a lb for nigiri. I got about 12 pieces for $16 for reference.

This place is a hidden gem! Came here around 3 P.M. on a Friday and they had a steady stream of customers. The line moves quickly and the sushi were constantly being refilled which made me confident I was getting fresh sushi. It was so cheap for decent quality sushi. If you have been to their poke bowl locations and like it you will most likely like this place. The quality is similar. You pick out your sushi and pay at the front. I will say they should have some different size plates so that people can purchase more than just 6-7 pieces that fit on a plate to go. It's difficult to carry two plates for those who are picking up for family or have a bigger appetite. The sauce and self service water on the side came in handy. The lobster Inari was a bit salty but all the other sushi I picked out were good. My favorites were the yellowtail and salmon. It was pretty busy so you'll be lucky to find a seat inside to dine in.

Sushi by the pound is AMAZING!! You can try new rolls a piece at a time. It's in a nice location, downtown Seattle. Parking is challenging but worth it. Customer service is great. We were greeted right away and asked if it was our first time. We were then shown what to do and where to start. Majority was pretty much self serve. Drinks are water or canned and bottled drinks. Quality of sushi is really good especially for the price! Wide array of rolls and nigiri to choose from. Bathrooms are clean and you have to be escorted there since it's in a shared space in a building. A must try in Seattle for some sushi on the go!

good food! great price! the service was speedy, since it is self-serve. they are diligent with replacing sushi as it runs out. everything i tried was bomb... and the serving was only $15.09 (for the plate on the bottom)

Super busy when we came in! I love how there were so many choices to choose from and that it was paid per pound. Great quality and some of the rolls were really unique! Also, each piece is FAT and the rolls are stuffed with a lot of things. So yummy, I'll definitely be back!

Affordable & fresh, located in a normal city building, pretty discreet from the outside I usually struggle at sushi spots bc i want to try it all - and now i can!!! I'm super impressed bc you'd think a buffet style would compromise the quality, but nope!! Some of the freshest tuna and ingredients I've had in a while. And such a good price!!! My whole/filled tray was less than $10!! -1 only bc: no good seating, no "for here" plate options, so can't escape single use plastic waste.
