I have been going to Fonda for many years. One of my favorite places, especially when I have visitors from out of town. Always consistently good food and service. Reasonable prices. And Georgetown location is a fun and less touristy part of the city.

Excellent food and a cornerstone of Georgetown. Highly recommend their cocktails and, if the weather is good, their outdoor patio dining area. Also highly recommend taking food to go if you don't want to dine in. Food is always nicely packaged, hot and fresh. Amazing gem of a place!

Good food and a fun environment. I went there on a suggestion without any expectations. Good happy hour, and a good sized menu. Colorfully decorated with inside, bar and patio seating. Good selection of tequilas too!

Fun Mexican food place. Lots of seating and easy to find. I got the Carnitas plate and it was good, a little salty and I eat a lot of salt. I've never really had carnitas but my friend said it was OK and wouldn't get it from there again. So, can't take this review for the carnitas. Everything else was good. I'll be going back.

Not an ideal spot for a meeting as it's extremely cramped and loud. If anyone is at all hard of hearing, I would not recommend. Otherwise it's a fun place with good food and very personalized service.

In general, it was just okay. I expected more since I saw the reviews on Google, but it did not deliver in my opinion. The place and ambiance were great, but the food was just okay, especially Carne Asada Tacos were really disappointing. Not just the taste but the presentation; they tasted bland and had nothing except the actual meat and some cilantro. I've had way more tasteful Tacos for way less. We also had Tacos Dorados which were better, Totopos Con Salsa with Guac and Pork Tamale, which was maybe the best out of the four dishes. It'll be one of those places I've tried once, I think.
The chips and salsa were so delicious! However, the food overall was overpriced because we were charged for everything! For example, I ordered a tostada and did not choose to have meat so I was charged for two side orders of rice and beans versus being able to substitute beans and rice for meat. I asked for additional salsa and was charged five dollars for this as well although the server informed me there would be an added charge. The server was not particularly friendly or helpful. The meal ended up costing much more than I thought it should have, although the food was very good.

Excellent place for upscale Mexican food and creative drinks. The food is tasty and very well executed. The staff is professional and efficient. This is a great place for lunch, happy hour or dinner. Everything is fresh and satisfying.
Food is super yummy, the environment is awesome and beautiful, and the service is fast! food arrived in 10 minutes maybe even less. Overall, greatly recommend.

The food was awful. We didn't finish our meal because there was no seasoning, and the service was terrible as well. Our server made a rude comment as I was paying the bill. I can't get out of here fast enough. 0 out of 10 do not recommend.
Update to the owner- I did address this immediately and your server made a rude comment about getting a free meal. I will be avoiding your establishment and I encourage others to do the same.
