Enjoyed their Idly , Masala Dosa and Uttapam! Generous amounts of fresh chutney! Will be a regular here!
Got heartburn after having chola batura and masala dosa. Taste seemed fine and didn’t seem overly spicy or oily. Wondering if the food was stale. Didn’t have the same experience before. Dropping one star for a bad experience. Might change review if I try again.

The chole bhatura here is really good. Dosa and other items are pretty good/ok.
So their South Indian food is really good. Super crispy dosa, soft idlis, flavorful aloo (with cashews ?), really nice chutney. The only thing is that their North Indian and Maharashtrian food kind of misses the mark. The peanuts in the poha are burnt. You're supposed to fry the peanuts, take them out, make the poha, and then put them back in. You should add some onions and potatoes to it too and cilantro at the end. Please fix this, I miss having poha regularly, and I don't have the energy to make it myself.

Food is average - some options are unique, which is why I visit this place. Pray that you have the guy taking your order. The lady (Priyanka) is very rude and non welcoming - smirks and shrugs when you order 10 15 mins before closing and is more than happy to chase guests away. She refused to let me dine in even as she was bringing out fresh dishes for a larger group of guests to eat at the restaurant. Also, isn’t open to accommodate minor changes/ requests - the guy is more personable and hospitable.

Located next to the Indian grocery store in South lake Union. The Marathi fish appetizer was great.
