Footprint Wine Tap

We had a great experience at Footprint Wine. Ken, the owner, was a pleasure to chat with and we really appreciated his passion for bringing in local winemakers you won’t find easily in the big wine stores. The summer wine flight was excellent and made for a perfect drink before dinner. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re looking for a local, personal experience.

What a truly fabulous discovery for wine lovers! My partner and I came in to Footprint Wine Tap for a post-dinner glass of wine and fell in love with the place. The space is modern, quaint and welcoming to all. We ended hitting it off with a few other guests and chatting the night away. Owner and wine maker, Ken, was exceptional by being willing to explain all their wine selections that are ON TAP! How unique and fun! Not to mention, their grapes are all sourced locally in Eastern Washington. I had their 2021 Pinot Noir which was aromatic, light bodied and went down all too easy. I truly appreciate supporting a business that is Black and LGBTQ owned. We will definitely become regulars and look forward to our next visit. PS: They serve charcuterie and pizzas.

Absolutely delightful experience

We absolutely loved Footprint Wine Tap! The selection of local wines was incredible, and chatting with Ken made the experience even better. His passion and knowledge really elevated our visit. I hope we get the chance to return someday. Such a great wine bar!

As a visitor to Seattle, it was a pleasure to visit this gorgeous wine bar and buy wine as a sustainable house gift for a friend. The wine was boxed up beautifully while we chatted. I would love to come back for food one evening. It is a calm and relaxing place, welcoming to families too.

We came on a Thursday night around 7 pm and the place was empty. I don't remember the server's name but she was really nice and answered any questions we had. She recommended some good wine and a cider. I got a flight for $20 and I'd say it was well worth it. We didn't try any food so I can't speak to that. I would have loved to visit on a more popular night or when there was an event happening. I can see the potential in this place. I think more people should check it out and make it a regular stop during their week. It's pretty cool to see wine on tap instead of beer.

Loved this wine bar. I especially like their attention to sustainability - everything is compostable and they use kegs because it is more sustainable. Their wines are great! I did a featured flight, which I enjoyed, and my husband created his own flight. We also got a pizza with salami and it was the perfect appetizer for the wine.

Sam was awesome and we chatted so much about wines in Washington vs California. I was really impressed by her description of the bar as I had no idea footprint was a nod to their environmental friendliness. The wines were great and her recommendation for a red blend was like exactly what I asked for. My next trip to Capitol Hill will definitely include a stop at this place!

Came here to celebrate my birthday! We attended the first class the owner gave. He was amazingly friendly and knowledgeable, we got lots of great info and tried some truly unique wines. It's a beautiful space too.cCan't wait to come back and visit again soon! ❤️

One of our best finds in Capitol Hill since moving to WA. Footprint Wine Tap offers guests a large selection of incredible wine to enjoy as well as a cozy and intimate setting to enjoy them in. The best Pinot Noir and Merlot I've had in the state of WA has been at Footprint. Ken (the owner) is a phenomenal human, if you have the opportunity to pick his brain about wine I'd take it. This is a small black-owned business, focused on sustainability and connecting with the community. I can't wait to go back!
