I’ve been here a couple of times over the years. My current visit was very disappointing.

The pizza had very little cheese on it. The crust was partly soggy but also hard to bite into, so I had to use a knife and fork and had difficulty cutting through the crust. We had to get our own flatware.

The pizza also took over 30 minutes to arrive from when we ordered it, and it was barely warm.

We ate the pizza because we were hungry. We were there because I'd had good pizza there in the past.

We had to go to the counter to pay, which was fine, however, when we were checking out I was told there was a tip already included in the check. Which is very frustrating when I consider there was no service.

As someone who’s worked in the service industry in some way my entire life, I find this highly frustrating. A tip should be based on the service and should be able to be determined by the guest, not the establishment.

Had I known that there was a fee to “dine-in” I would have opted out. With the fees and taxes, a 14" pizza ended up being $40.

Parking: Very limited parking in the area, street parking only

We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, one beer, and one fountain soda, and the total was $62 after mandatory 20% tip and tax!!! The pizza was okay, nothing special. Unfortunately we left feeling like we got very little value for the money. We won't be back, there are better options out there.

Pizza was overpriced and was average. I prefer brick oven pizza but we tried this because it was local. They automatically charge 20% tip which I don’t agree with as well. Some Ethan Stowell restaurants charge higher!!! Atmosphere was really fun for the kids so I enjoyed that.

Really cool spot with great service. Only reason I’m giving 4 and not 5 is because it was kind of expensive for the pizza to be good-not-great. Crust was delicious but the toppings are mid.

There is no complaint about the food or the service. It’s the shady business practices. It’s the fact that they put on a 20 percent service charge with out telling you upfront. Which would be fine if it was gratuity, but it’s not gratuity. The bill clearly states that the service charge goes to the company and not the server. We ended up paying over $120 dollars for two pizzas, a salad and a sprite. It was a down right scam. Will not be going back.

Caution! The waiter promoted a buy one medium get one medium for half off. When the bill came he made up some excuse that it needed to be the same pizza to get that deal, then to find out it’s not being offered on weekends, but when ordering he pushed it hard to get two pies and why it was beneficial. Pizza was just ok, and when the bill showed up $90.00 for two mediums and one beer during their daily happy hour, it’s a ripoff, I had to wait for someone to correct our bill for the half off offer they didn’t want to honor after heavy promotion of it. Also 20% service charge added to our tab as well. Much better options for food in area, this is officially a one and done !

This is a great neighborhood pizza spot. The food is good, the setup is great for families and small groups of friends, especially with the outdoor space offering a fireplace and game space. We have been here three times and it’s a literal drive across town. It’s a sure bet kinda place. Parking can mean a walk, but not more than a couple of blocks.

Service was fantastic, and the pizzas looked good, but don't fall for the Big Moses.

Wanted to like it but fell short. They are understaffed and we waited an hour to get our food. It took them about 20 mins to get us water and take our order. I also do not appreciate having to pay a mandatory service fee on service this delayed. The pizza crust is weird. Its bottom is encrusted with so much corn meal or semolina that it’s hard and takes forever to chew. It’s a jaw workout. The sausage topping is also weird and ruined both pizzas I got.

The pizza was 'okay'. Service was so-so We got a pizza off the menu ($34). They want $9 for a beer (We had two). It was over $70 for those three things. The food and service were miles from being worth more than $70.

Pricing was dishonest. Forced 20% service charge that was not disclosed at the start of the meal. Will not go back here.
