Salty caramel ash is delicious. Slightly chalky but in a good way.
Undoubtedly, this establishment offers the finest ice cream available. Having traveled to various countries and states, and sampled numerous types of ice cream, I can confidently attest to the richness, creaminess, and buttery flavor of this particular ice cream. It is truly exceptional. I recommend trying the pistachio and butter varieties for an excellent combination.
Frankie & Jo’s has the best vegan ice cream I’ve ever had — rich, creamy, and full of natural flavor without feeling heavy. Every scoop tastes intentional and indulgent in the best way. The vibe inside feels modern and calming, making it the perfect treat stop while exploring Seattle. A must for anyone with a sweet tooth who wants to keep it plant-based.
Best ice cream in town (and there's a lot!)
Delicious vegan ice cream!
The ice cream here is superb! I got the miso moon seasonal flavor and it was delicious. Great texture and amazing flavor. Leagues better than the Molly Moon’s vegan ice cream.
Kind service and delicious ice cream
This is the ice cream of my dreams but I stopped going last summer when I tried to bring my elderly mom here and they wouldn't give her bathroom access. I'm sure it sucks to service a restroom in this area, but I'm feel strongly that it's irresponsible to serve finger food in a community setting without offering people the possibility of handwashing, among other reasons. (They will direct you to walk out and around through a few doors to the building's shared restroom, which kind of defeats the point of washing your hands.) If someone mentions that this has changed, I'll come right back. Updated from previous review on 2025-09-07
Amazing vegan ice cream and the BEST gluten free cones EVER. Rotating seasonal menu.
BEST ICE CREAM OF MY LIFE
Restaurantji Recommends
Vegan frozen treats and gf cones that are worth it. Chocolate tahini “ice cream” is wonderful. Friendly service.
SO YUM OMG. I know what you’re thinking… how good can dairy-free ice cream be? Well, let me tell you. We went to Salt & Straw the night before this, and yea, it was good. But it left us feeling overly-full and maxed out on sweetness. Frankie & Jo’s, however, was the perfect blend of a sweet treat without too much sweetness. Also, the BEST waffle cone I’ve ever had. They only had one worker scooping and checking people out so the line got pretty long behind us, but she was very kind and personal, despite the rush. I so wish there was a Frankie & Jo’s where I live in Hawaii 🤍
Great ice cream but it might be the most expensive you’ll find in the entire country. My kids cup was $6 + tax (see photo of the kids cup, which is about the same size as a cough medicine cup).
Amazing flavors, some of them very creative and weird and always make for an interesting visit
My #1 place for 100% vegan ice cream.
