Had the salmon bowl. Got severe food poisoning.
Would seriously recommend for extremely authentic Japanese. Ordered at an iPad and sat down and had amazing homey food.

Delicious!!!! Me and my partner love sushi and were looking for a spot to eat that was easy and not incredibly pricy. So glad we stopped by Fremont bowl. The fish freshness, portions, and service were awesome for a super reasonable price. If we lived here this would be an every day affair

It is an authentic Japanese restaurant that is not expensive and economical. The only thing is that they are all bottled drinks, but that's okay. Varies from person to person. People around here come to eat
Parking: Parking is okay during normal times, but it will be a little difficult during holidays.
Kid-friendliness: Children can be brought

Great donburi place with a variety of options for different diets. Kid-friendly, though seating is limited to a few tables so you'll probably have to wait a bit unless you're getting take-out. We had a katsu bowl, the aburi bowl, and some karaage, all terrific. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, thank you for a great experience!

Great quality, tasty and a large serving of Chicken Katsu Don Buri and Udon! Food was brought to our table quickly and was hot - just what the weather called for that day.
Seating is limited inside with only a handful of small tables.
Fremont Bowl is my go-to spot for a poke fix. I think the freshness and quality of their fish (salmon specifically) can't be beat. It is simple yet elegant. While there may not be as much variety as some other places around Seattle in terms of toppings, I think it has all you need--fresh Salmon, scrumptious rice, and a delicious Yuzu sauce that makes everything taste better.
My only wish was that it was a little less expensive. However, my wife insists that Fremont bowl isn't expensive, but just normal-priced. I suppose she is right, since raw fish is expensive no matter where you go. But for the occasional treat, there's no place else I'd rather go!
One note: I've never dined in--only ever done takeout. So I cannot say anything about their atmosphere or service. However, the takeout has always been quick and the front-desk people friendly enough!

Disappointing - I get take out here all the time and went to eat lunch at the restaurant at 1:40, and wanted the dish that you can only eat dine-in, the Aburi Sake Don. They won’t let you order it before closing time, even though they state they are open. Be warned that you may not get to dine in lunch there, even when arriving before closing time. They want you out by 2:00.
The best Japanese restaurant in town, full stop.
You can eat healthy at an excellent pricing. Large portion size, fresh food and nice service. What else do you need? :)

Holy crap this place is incredible!! I have had plenty of sushi/poke/sashimi in Seattle and this place does chirashi bowls right. The miso soup with mussels was spectacular. I live within walking distance and I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 1.5 years and I’m mad at myself for not trying this spot sooner because I am beyond impressed and could have been having it this whole time. The inside is small but really cute, I think it would be nice to eat there, I got my order to go. There is a self ordering kiosk and then you get a number for your order. Plenty of items to choose from, I want to try so many things.
Vegetarian options: Tofu, edamame
Parking: It’s almost impossible to find parking, you’re better off parking and walking a couple blocks.
