My go-to fish market. Pictures are of some mussels and oysters I had recently from them-- always plump, delicious, and undamaged. I've had their salmon for many Thanksgivings and parties. They always have big high-quality filets available on short notice. But their best specialty item is, in my opinion, the shrimp cakes. Oh my god! So good! I've had crab cakes in Maine that were far worse than these shrimp cakes. Get 5. Excellent as an app or as a burger.

They also have a small pantry and produce section with some necessities. Swing by the butcher and bakery next door and you've got an awesome day of eating ahead.

My parents visit Seattle a few times a year and during each visit my dad requests that we make the drive from Normandy Park to Ballard for the crab cakes at The Fresh Fish Co!! I happily agree to drive, they’re that good!!! Wish I had a photo, but they’re always gone directly after being cooked! Delicious!

I am on a tight budget but since I've given up eating meat, I am always looking for some delicious seafood. I stopped by several months ago to check out their crab cakes (have had in the past) but after covid and crab harvest scarcities the price was over my budget. Instead they recommended their shrimp or fish cakes. I tried the shrimp cakes and now have them several times a week. They freeze well so it's super convenient. Recently they recommended their new halibut cakes and now I am an avid fan of both the shrimp and halibut cakes. Both are delicious and affordable. They are big so a half a cake is a perfect serving for me. Now I am a weekly regular. So happy!
