Used to go here all the time, but in the last few years it seems the quality has gone down (seems like my milk in my latte is constantly burnt?) and prices have skyrocketed. It's $1.25-1.75 more per drink than other comparable or better shops in the same neighborhood.
The mocha I got tastes more like a latte. Tried stirring it thinking the rest of the chocolate must be at the bottom, nope. Seems like it's just the recipe this cafe uses. I get that this place is paying a livable wage, but for $8 I thought the mocha would have an actual chocolate flavor to it.
Just awesome little coffee shop. Their coffee is fresh and tasty, and the atmosphere is great. In my visits, the staff has been friendly, charming, and generally awesome. Can't recommend this place enough. I like to come have creative work sessions here.
