Very rude the girl serving with short hair. I think just because I ordered 5min before closing...

It’s been well over a decade since I had been here last. The updates inside are beautiful. Same great coffee. Chill Vibe.

Coffee, pastries are not good but expensive. Location and vibe is good but not family friendly.

Service was slow and bad. The barista was low-key rude & patronizing, not just to me, but to multiple customers I heard them interact with. Pros: the space is really cute and the outdoor seating is lovely.

This shop has me torn. I've visited a couple times and I enjoy the overall retro design of the shop, the mid-century modern furniture, the book shelves and coffee gear offerings, but the coffee and food has been just ok. I most recently ordered the KyotoBot coffee which is made from their cold percolation towers and it reminded me of a cut cold brew, just not as exciting as I was hoping. Also ordered a lye roll which was kinda dry but I didn't have super high expectations for it. The baristas were chill and they had some retail roasts for $15 at 12oz so I appreciate that. But overall, I would say it leaves a lot to be desired but thanks to the many seating options makes for a relaxing spot to study/ catch up with a friend/ read a book

Fuel coffee is my favorite coffee shop. I love the selection of books they have, their coffee drinks are perfect, and the atmosphere is the perfect balance of cozy, modern and minimalist.I got the seasonal rosemary latte iced, and it was delicious.Parking: A few spots right behind the coffee shop. Otherwise there is street parking that’s usually full.Kid-friendliness: Space is tight and it’s not the best atmosphere for kids, but it will be okay on a slow day.

Came by here on a Friday around 10:30AM and it was busy! Luckily I was able to snag a high top chair looking out the window. I ordered their seasonal rosemary latte ($7.50). It was very warm and frothy, with a subtle rosemary taste. I'm pretty sure they make their syrups in-house so they had a few options to select from. They also have the assortment of Torani syrup flavors to choose from too. The two making my coffee and taking my order were very helpful and nice to chat with as I was deciding which drink to order. I spent about two hours there drinking my latte and studying. It was a nice atmosphere for studying. I'd definitely come back again!

What an adorable coffee shop and bookstore combo! I had an hour or so before a work meeting nearby, so thought this would be a great place to pop in and get a few emails done! I grabbed one of their seasonal coffees and a pastry. Both were delicious! However, I would definitely come here for the ambiance; I love being surrounded by books and, while the selection is small, it is well stocked with everything from YA to romance to a robust nonfiction section.

An actual quiet cafe'! People seemed to mostly be studying and I found it easy to concentrate and relax. The coffee was excellent and it was nice and cool inside - I'm pretty sure it was air-conditioned. Gender neutral bathrooms!! Very queer friendly! Cool books for sale! And stickers!! If lived closer I would be here all the time!!

Only a few people sitting inside and the internet is painfully slow. Barely opening webpages.Surprised it’s even possible to buy an internet plan and router in Seattle in 2023 that’s this slow..Otherwise an excellent spot! Would happily update to 5 stars if wifi speeds up.
