One of the few truly tasty places in Seattle. The smell first caught my attention, and the food did not disappoint when I went in. It is a spicy flavor explosion. With this right next to my light rail stop, I worry I will soon be broke and fat.

One of our most favorite restaurants in PNW! It’s got the best vegetarian dishes- the hara bara lababdar and the veg biryani are our favorites! It’s also got an amazing ambience and great service.

Vegetarian options: Chaat items, Lababdar, other chef’s specials

Absolutely delicious, creative but also on-point traditional. We got the chef's special Tava Malai Paneer and it was incredibly detailed and even exquisite. The sauce was filled with fresh ingredients and even contained small flecks of grated paneer in addition to the standard paneer chunks -- very creative and clearly made with care and love not often seen in many Indian restaurants, some of which seem to use premade sauces. Absolutely incredible dal tadka — better than any I’ve had in the US and on par with the best dal tadkas I’ve had at nicer restaurants in India (the ones only Indians go to). I would go back for the dal tadka and wish I’d ordered an extra to go. The rice was cumin rice by default, which many places offer as a specialty item. The spinach chaat was addictive, crispy and unusual. Our biggest regret was not taking the remaining sauce home with us! Highly recommend this lovingly prepared and thoughtfully curated menu. Family-friendly service with high chairs and coloring books (but don’t worry, we were the only people with a kid). Cute and cozy ambience, currently decked out for Christmas.

We went here for dinner. Very warm and welcoming service. The food was amazing!
For appetizers we got Chinese bhel puri which had the right balance of flavors and textures.
For main course we got Paneer Khurchan which was creamy and delicious. The quantity was more than enough for the two of us and the side of rice was very flavorful.
They mentioned that they don't make the Naan they serve but it paired well with the entree.

We dropped in for dinner while a friend was in town visiting and were blown away by how great the food was. Easily some of the best Indian cuisine we've ever had! We will be back (even with the drive up from Tacoma)!

The food and service was great! The prices were very reasonable as well. We showed up close to closing time and the staff still accommodated us very courteously. We especially loved the palak chaat, cauliflower manchurian and the chicken changezi dishes!

Food is ok, lot of food coloring but it’s tasty. My rating is low because I observed the Manager talking down harshly to the entire staff. Look for other reviews and you will notice this is not the only incident. I worry about eating at a restaurant where the owner doesn’t care for their staff, it will ultimately reflect on the quality and hygiene as I do not trust the staff will stay motivated. The person serving the tables deserves 5-stars for doing an impeccable job despite the work environment. I want to support local businesses as I really feel bad for the staff, but we will likely not be visiting this place. I hope the owner sees the point of the feedback vs just selectively refuting the feedback that I have seen in comments for negative reviews.

Great Chef! Tried Veg Thali and chole sabji. Found some really enjoyable signature taste. I am a picky eater in general. Things can improve but rating 5/5 to encourage them.

My wife and I flew into Seattle, got our hotel, and noticed this restaurant a block away. We met the manager, Kannan. His restaurant was clean and inviting. Our dishes were delicious! Everything was great. Definitely worth a trip downtown if you’re looking for quality food at a great price in Seattle.
