Do you want to feel like you are in France? This is the place for you. Food and atmosphere are very French (and delicious). Staff is also very Parisian in that they can be snobby and not attentive. I think this is mostly due to many more patrons than staff. This does not prevent me from returning time and time again. Highly recommend the Croque Madam.

First-time visit on a Monday night and arrived when happy hour started. Wish we lived closer, but then again, that might not be good for our waistlines. Wish I could give 4.5 stars.
Tried various items:
- Escargot: Good enough to satisfy our craving. Would've liked more parsley and garlic to go with our bread. Happy hour price can't be beat though. - Duck entrees were so delicious! Breast was juicy, tender, and done just right. Maybe crispier skin? - Creme brulee and chocolate mousse: Pretty good. Maybe a touch of sweetness in the mousse?
Overall, we were very happy. Good food at good prices, such a rarity in Seattle these days for this kind of menu.

Over cooked both my burger and my buddies burger. Grill guy needs to work on his timing and let the meat rest. Otherwise its a nice enough place and the staff were attentive. Medium rare/ medium shouldn't be medium well, just ends up being a dry burger.
Go there during the day if you want a peaceful meal, during dinnertime the staff is too busy and its really loud. But the amazing food and good cocktails more than make up for it. Duck confit is legendary. One of my favorite places in Seattle!
We loved Gainsbourg. We had the Brussels sprouts, duck confit, and beef bourguignon and enjoyed everything. Especially on a rainy evening, we liked the artsy, dark, and buzzing vibe with the open kitchen and bar. Felt almost speakeasy like. Will definitely return.

Came for the escargot, wanted to leave bc of Ashley. She treated my friend like the scum of the earth. As service industry workers we are very empathetic for her but nobody deserves to be treated like that.
