This place has been on my Seattle bucket list since we moved here earlier this year and I'm so thrilled we finally got to try it. One of the best meals I've had, absolutely incredible food. We ordered the chili wonton, orange chicken, kimchi fried rice, and XO rice rolls. I can't pick a favorite. They were all so good!!!

Underwhelming Chinese food. The concept and ambience were cool but I care mostly about the food in a restaurant and it didn’t deliver. Everything was super super salty and the beef stew was really fatty and lacked the layered taste you’d find in this traditional Cantonese dish.
The fried chicken dish was the only dish that tasted ok.
Will not come back.

Fantastic food! Highly recommend the chow fen and someone from the daily special menu! We got the kimchi bacon fried rice and it was delicious! Lively atmosphere, 21+ only. It was pretty busy and they were understaffed so service could be better but that didn’t take away from the fantastic food.

We loved the Crispy rice rolls! Definitely such a cute vibe
Love this little eatery here in the ID. This place has the best Chow Fun noodles. Yes, I said it, the BEST in Chinatown. Also the fried chicken and gravy is really good too. I’ve came here before too, they handmade the wontons, the spicy wontons is very good as well. Come in on the right night, they’ll also have karaoke. This place is also can be very crowded but don’t let it stop you from grabbing a bite and chat and sing with some friendly people.

I placed a takeout order for my boyfriend to pick up since he was in the area, and he mentioned that the person who helped him seemed annoyed that he arrived 5 minutes early. The pickup time was 25 minutes out from when I placed the order, which ended up not being ready until 15 minutes past the pickup time. Although I still look forward to trying the food I ordered from Gan Bei, I feel horrible that my boyfriend had a poor experience when he was just trying to do something nice for me. I do hope this was a one-off experience, and I’ll still consider dining in if the food ends up tasting good.

Hole in the wall, dive bar, delicious food! Hard to find good Chinese in Seattle but this ticked the box for me. We had milk teas, orange chicken and Mongolian beef. All were excellent. Would come back!

Great Chinese food, might be the best I have had since moving from New York. Also a great dive bar, seriously love this place, new life-long customer!

Small mom and pop restaurant with wonderful, homestyle Chinese food. The first thing you’ll notice when you step inside is that there are a lot of regulars here. It’s a wonderful and chill community spot, plus they have karaoke every Thursday night.
I recommend these dishes:
* Clay pot rice - usually a 20 min wait but so worth it
* Chicken and gravy - crispy and delicious
* Hong Kong milk tea
* Money’s chili crisp - you can also request it on the side with your meal or you can buy a jar! My favorite locally made chili crisp.
