Way overpriced and my blackberry jam donut tasted like a dinner roll with Jam inside. Didn't taste like a donut at all.Almost 30 bucks for 4 donuts!

Nice staff. This shop specializes in filled donuts so if you’re not a fan of them, you won’t like the options here.I tried the vanilla custard and jam filled donut. I preferred the custard because it felt like the jam filled donut had seeds in it which felt a bit odd on my teeth. But the flavor of both donuts were good!

The donuts were pretty yummy, I had the lemon one. However, they only price them individually and not by the group which is unfortunate. They’re pretty pricey and the donut display is small. The latte was nice and the espresso were much nicer than you’d usually get at a Starbucks. The inside was decorated very cute.

I’ll be honest - donuts places are usually unappealing to me because their donuts are wayyyy to sweet and wayyy to greasy. I tried this place very low key because I was in the area and it was convenient. MIND BLOWN! My new favorite place for donuts. Not too sweet at all. Very nicely done. I had the seasonal plum jam. Not too much jam either. Perfectly balanced. Highly recommend. 10 out of 10. The baristas were also lovely.

This is the third attempt by the honey and I to visit a General Porpoise location. We tried twice at Spheres before discovering you have to be a badged Amazon employee to purchase anything from that location. We then made a special trip, walking over an hour to go to this General Porpoise location. Only to walk in and have the cashier brightly tell us they're out of doughnuts. Which, okay that happens. But she then goes on to say (with a smile) how happy she is to be out of doughnuts because then there's no resulting food waste.... yeah. Just what every person who wastes a trip wants to hear.It could have been, "So sorry, we're out." And that could have been the end of it, but instead she came across as patronizing with a defined air of arrogance. This visit cemented that our next (and last) attempt to getting General Porpoise will not be at this location. It generally seems to prioritize a lack of food waste over actually having product to sell.

Good by seattle-level coffee, which is really really good anywhere else. Tons of outlets and more room than the cap hill location for studying. Outside seating. Same delicious donuts as the other locations. 5* for study spots, 4.5* for coffee, 5* for donuts.

The staff were really great, but one of the donuts didn't have any actual filling, just the little dollop on top... little discouraging for how pricey they are

So I really wanted to try this place because it got such high reviews as a donut shop and it had really interesting flavors for donuts. I found parking in the garage next to it but it wasn't intuitive that that's where you should park and it wasn't on their website. Their donut dough was extremely soaked in oil, barely fried and just rolled in granular sugar. The oil was disgusting. I ordered the apricot pistachio ricotta which tasted nothing like pistachio and only had a few nuts sprinkled on top but the rest of the flavor was good. I also ordered the Rainier cherry jam donut which was extremely unpleasant. The jam was more like gelatin and had very little flavor. For two terribly flavored and poorly cooked donuts it cost me $12.65. Aside from the food, the gentleman at the counter was less than welcoming and even laughed at me as I was trying to remember the flavors I had pre-picked to try off of the website. Overall, the experience was completely lackluster.

First time in and it's super cute! Awesome service from the team-member at the counter - wish I got your name!! The location inside is also adorable and smells way too good. Didn't have the chance to try a doughnut but I did get this yummy oat milk matcha, which is one of the better matcha lattes I've ever had. Thanks GP!!!

Cute little shop with yummy doughnuts if you get there early enough to get some :) not your regular doughnut shop flavors. Tasty drinks, as well!

Most expensive donuts in Seattle? The store and people are nice, but at $5.50 per donut, this is the most expensive donut in Seattle as far as I know. Also, if you're not there by noon, except a limited selection, like maybe 2 options? I won't be back.

The veggie sandwich was incredible. I never order veggie, but went out on a limb and was really surprised by how tasty it was.

Over $13 for a donut and a latte, which wouldn’t bother so much if I’m the donut had been better. Latte was fine, but the service was unfriendly. 20% tip, but got scolded for not bussing my own table when I finished. First visit there, so I couldn’t know what was expected, and the bussing station is recessed out of site at this branch. Why did I tip if I had to pick up my order AND bus my table? Certainly not for the service. I can’t recommend.Location was on Union Bay Place NE on 2/1/2023 in morning.
