Great pastries, especially the donuts. Today had a lemon creme filled, along with a raspberry filled. Both were great, though neither quite measured up to a magical, mystical raspberry creme filled donut I bought at the UVillage-area GP last summer. Hope to catch that variety again soon!
My latte was also great, as usual, with great service from the barrista!

I’m on a mission to try every donut place in Seattle. After much hype I was excited to go to general porpoise. Gotta say I was disappointed. The flavors they had all sounded good but each seemed somewhat under-powered. There seemed to be not enough filling for the donut and the donuts themselves were kinda stale. I was there in the afternoon, but that’s when I eat donuts anyway usually and the difference seemed notable to me.
All-in I would place them a worse than top pot. Meh.

We are in from East Texas and we don’t have a big coffee scene in our small town. This place was our first stop in Seattle. We walk up and they open the door for us! We order three donuts and a coffee, it was about $30+ tip. A little expensive but it was sooo worth it, the donuts were amazing but they didn’t warm up the ones i thought they would. Wasn’t a big deal but i totally recommend this place if you have the money too!

The service was great and the coffee was good, but the doughnuts seemed to be lacking. Maybe they were having an off day. I doubt I will go back.

Donuts are really nice, not too sweet. Loved the seasonal tiramisù which had a strong coffee flavor and wasn’t overly sweet.

The donuts here are incredibly fluffy, and the filling is subtly sweet—just right. At $5 each (plus tip), it’s a bit pricey for regular visits, but definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. I’d highly recommend the chocolate marshmallow and the maple varieties!

Really great donuts. However we only eat here every once and a while as a treat. Parking can be difficult and it's a bit spendy.
