Cute cafe I stopped by at this morning. The doughnut was yummy and latte was foamy & so delicious. I'd like to come back and try their other doughnut flavors. Lovely baristas too! Lots of seating for large groups of people, would love to get coffee with friends here!

So I pre-ordered these donuts for pick up and the place was beautiful and cashier was friendly. Just picked up my donuts and left. Took them home to share with my family since we bought all six flavors of the day to give them a try. When we cut them in half multiple donuts had barely any filling in them. So half of the donut was just the brioche bread. I have pics but can't seem to post them. The lemon and the strawberry jam was filled nicely but all the rest was really sad tbh. ? hate to leave a negative review but for $5.00 a donut it should be more consistent.

Delicious! Always worth a stop. Lemon curd is my favorite & vanilla is my partners fav!

General Porpoise serves an amazing batch of upscale donuts and delicious coffee to match. This cafe is one of my favorites to visit on a trip to Seattle as they have a rotating set of seasonal flavors to try so you’ll always run into something new.The donuts are the lighter side and fluffy made of a brioche dough I believe. The fillings are all sourced from high quality ingredients. I tried one of each flavor on this trip but my favorites were the berry jam and the pistachio this time. Coffee wise they have a solid cold brew and other craft options. The inside is well decorated and the staff at this location were super friendly. They have a few other spots around town so definitely check it out!

Really cute clean place. Kind staff. Great sugar and spice chai. Pistachio donut dough was great but the filling was lumpy and the pistachio flavoring uneven. Wouldn’t recommend visiting but get the classic doughnuts with cream

Don’t listen to Claudia. That’s all.

$6 for a donut. So you can imagine I had expectations. Although I appreciated the not too sweet vanilla filling, it was, how shall I put it, DISGUSTING! Slightly undercooked, it left a lasting sour/bitter taste in my mouth and I put it in the trash after eating half. Ya’ll should be ashamed!

At long last we have finally gotten our porps! This was our fourth attempt and third location we've tried to achieve General Porpoise in, and to be honest, this one had the best service of all three. I called ahead and the barista told me that they actually do list on their site what flavors they have each day - it just grays out when they're out of stock, which was super helpful and the honey and I ended up splitting a tiramisu and an unfilled. General Porpoise doughnuts are sort of a mix between an eclair and a dinner roll. They're more bready, but they don't truly feel like doughnuts to me (Crispy Creme and old fashioneds are sort of our gold standard). Overall, my personal fav was the tiramisu, but the honey ended up preferring the unfilled to go with his cup of their tasty coffee. The service was friendly and helpful and all in all we enjoyed our stop in.

I walk past this nice and cute little shop every morning and every morning it would spark my curiosity. This made me want to stop by and see what all they had to offer. Not to mention they serve doughnuts, it was a double win for me. However I wouldn't recommend going if your are a person of color. Upon entering you could hear a lovely conversation that included staff. Immediately after entering all smiles ceased and both baristas just paused and gave me a blank stare. Instant regret of the unwelcome atmosphere I walk towards the menu to see what they had to offer. After being in the establishment for about 2 minutes or silence staff never welcomed me neither did they ask did I need assistance. And feeling like I didn't belong I chose to spend my money in better places who have staff that doesn't discriminate race in 2023!!!!!!!!

Lovely spot for a quiet cup of coffee. Would absolutely recommend the plum jam donut!

Had a lovely time. Very interesting coffee and donuts - we tried the vanilla custard and churro cream ones. Relaxing ambience and decor, polite staff.
