We were looking for a place to take my sister when she came to town. The wait wasn't bad and once we got inside, we knew we made the right decision. The food was excellent and the proportions were perfect. We tried the French toast, an omelet and the biscuits and gravy. No complaints from anyone. I’ve been a loyal regular for years and love the food, but I won’t be back. While most of the staff is great, one long-time employee is consistently unpleasant. Today was the breaking point: they were rude, rolled their eyes, and eventually walked away mid-sentence. Despite the great food, the service has officially ruined the experience for me. I no longer feel the premium prices are justified by the experience.
Geraldine's has a really cozy vibe and the eggs benedict I had was pretty good, though the hollandaise sauce was a little on the tart side for me. Service was friendly and prompt, so I'd consider going back if I'm in the area again.
