Went to Ghostfish Brewing while visiting Seattle from North Carolina. It was absolutely amazing! I have been gluten free for 5 years and this was such a fun find and treat! I had the chicken tenders and Parmesan fries. So good! My boyfriend who is NOT gf had the spicy chicken sandwich and said he couldn’t tell it was gf. The bun was super good, which is rare with gf. We also had a cider and the coffee blonde. Both were delicious! We will definitely be returning next time we are in town.

I used to really love this place, but it’s gotten so bad that we actually walked out the last time a while after being seated. We were sat decently quickly, but then the waitress dropped our menus and then said she’d go get us water. She never came back. We watched as multiple other people were sat, given water, and then by the time we saw people who came in after us ordering their food, we decided to head out. Meanwhile, the waitress who decided to either completely ignore us or forget about us, was chatting away at the bar with other coworkers and one customer that was sitting at the bar.. Didn’t seem like she was doing anything else. It was a Friday night and there were only a few tables with people sitting in them, 1-2 people at the bar, it was extremely slow, especially for a Friday night. Now I know why, they actually don’t want to serve you! Not to mention, paying well over $30 for a very underwhelming bacon cheeseburger is just ghastly. The fish and chips get more expensive every time we go there and the quality also goes down. They also only gave me 4 shrimp the last time I ordered shrimp. It states that it is supposed to have 5 shrimp. I guess the cook got hungry? This used to be our favorite place, we’d go at least once a month. Now it’s 1-2 times a year and honestly? Maybe the last time was our last time, unfortunately.

I really want to rate this place higher but I just can’t. I’ve been here twice, first time food was underseasoned and undercooked, second time was only underseasoned.
The service was so bad we didn’t even stay. There were open tables, yet we stood at the servers station for nearly 15 minutes. Finally seated at a table, but nobody ever came. After 10 minutes we moved to the bar, but nobody showed up there either. After 10 minutes there we just left. Over 30 minutes passed without a single acknowledgment, menu, or hello. Servers were everywhere but they were just talking to each other and unloading boxes. Customers everywhere were trying to get their attention to order food or close tabs. Will not be returning.
