I wanted to love this place. The khao soi was not very flavorful and the bowls are very small for the price. I’m hoping I just caught them on an off day but I have definitely had better khao soi else where in Seattle.

What made me write this review really was the bathroom though…it is so dirty! Trash is overflowing, no cover on the back of the toilet, clumps of dust along the baseboard and corner..something all over the wall by the toilet?..I just expected more for the price point of the food.

Me and my partner went here on our trip to Seattle. We have thought about it for months and have tried plenty other restaurants than just don’t compare — it was the best thing we had ever tasted!! The service was good, although it’s do-it-yourself style. Can’t wait to come back one day.

Great food, great service. I wanted to take a picture but when the food came out completely forgot to take the picture. My brother had the duck, my wife had the wagyu, and I had the oxtail. We all shared and it was all amazing. Definitely will be back again.

The tofu and beef kaosoi are both delicious! I didn’t have much expectation for takeout noodles but they did a pretty good job at keeping the texture and freshness!

Food was good but it took a while to come out even though there's only 1 item on the menu.

Little loud for us hard of hearing when place gets busy. Love their broth.

I got takeout and it was really nicely packaged so that when I got home it was ready to combine and nothing was soggy. The oxtail was really tender and the whole dish was really flavorful. They have a dairy free Thai tea as well which was great.

Seriously? $20 for this portion? You can give at least a bit more noodle…

Tiny, hidden gem in Ballard. There is no signage on the building, so you would miss the restaurant if you're not specifically looking for it, but that adds to the charm. Feels like a closely guarded secret or a hidden treasure. Only one Thai noodle dish on the menu, but you choose the protein you want or vegetarian option. The Thai tea is amazing, as well. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Expensive for the portion. Very soft noodles. Tasty soup. I enjoyed it but probably wouldn’t be back.

Tasty duck Khao Soi. Noodles super soggy though.

The Khao Soi base was incredible on its own, but topping it with duck or oxtail (we ordered one of each) really pushed it to the next level. Tho the shining star had to have been the passion fruit pie from the San Bartolo bake shop. We'll definitely be ordering a custom pie from them!

im thai, its okay. b-. drove from a bit away and waited an hour. we wouldn't do that again, sorry. any thai restaurant's khao soi is just as good but they won't have tenderloin steak, oxtail, etc. both those were great, but the braised beef was dry af. also this is the first time ive ever had a thai restaurant run out of thai tea! also if you're leaving a bad review because they no longer serve hainan chicken, you are stupid.
