I recently had the chance to try Ginger & Scallions new concept swap from chicken and rice to khao soi. Food, service and atmosphere is on-point for the most part, but, damn!, that dollar to food cost is a tough value proposition! I hate to ding G&S too much for the environment they are operating with the cost of operating in Seattle being high, but this portion to the cost was lopsided enough for me to make it the feature of this review.

Came for chicken rice but they removed it and only serve curry noodle soup now. Disappointing especially since the name Ginger & Scallion was for Hainanese chicken rice. Regardless, the curry noodle soup was extremely delicious. All the meats were tender and cooked perfectly.
However the prices are crazy. $25 dollars for beef tenderloin and the portions are small. $23 for duck soup. I hope they reconsider their pricing because it's just not worth above...
