Chef and Owner Tina is providing a breath of fresh air at GCGK, cooking up serious soul food that left me fat and happy. The variety of flavors though diverse, all work together for a well-fixed plate of grub you don't want to put down. I eat quite a bit and couldn't quite polish off my jollof rice, and I came hungry. 5 stars across the board! The food is simply amazing and flavorful. I love rice so My favorites are the waakye, jollof & suya. But the meat pies are to die for. ❤️ As far as cocktails, the Spicy Passion blew me away and has been the only cocktail I’ve ordered since! Owner Tina and the employees are super sweet and accommodating. This was the first restaurant I tried since moving to Seattle last month and have eaten here every week since! It would be everyday if possible!...
Didn’t take any pics but this place is amazing. My partner had wanted to go here for over a year and we bussed over and had an amazing meal and a great time.

Food was delicious (we had the peanut stew, peri peri wings, jollof rice, and the puff puff for dessert), my partner was into the cocktails, and my personal fave was the peri peri wings.

Also got to nerd out a bit with our main server over Buffalo wings and football.
