Goldfinch Tavern was a great dining experience! We went there to celebrate my daughters birthday. The atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing. Beautifully decorated and the lighting was great. The view of the city and the Big Wheel all lite up at night was wonderful! Food and drinks were excellent. Was able to take advantage of some happy hour pricing on our apps before it ended, which was a perk. Service was top notch. From the hostess and wait staff, they were all so pleasant...
We came here for a New Year's Eve. They offered a prefix menu of 3 courses for $175 each person plus $99 for a wine pairing plus 20% service charge. The appetisers were well decorated and tasted well (oysters, foie gras terrine). The main meals (sea food, surf and turf) were okay and deserts were disappointing. One of our very favorite Seattle restaurants for special occasions. Breathtaking view. Beyond excellent food. Fantastic service. Chill but elegant ambiance. It's expensive but gets everything right and worth splurging for the right occasion. Can't recommend more enthusiastically.
