The best place to eat in the area hands down! I ordered for my friends that helped me move, and not only did they make us takeout outside their usual hours, but they threw in a couple extras so we were sure to have enough food for everyone to fill up after a long day of moving, but also have leftovers. The owners are a lovely family that are incredibly kind and generous, that will remember your name and your favorite order. Their Greek salad is incredible, and the baklava is transcendent. This place is well worth a visit

Rula and George hosted our group (20 people) for a milestone birthday party recently. From the table arrangements to the food, everything was perfect -- they made us feel like family. All the food was delicious, but the lamb in particular stood out; Our guests loved both the food and the atmosphere.
Their take-out is also great -- Whatever you order, it's usually enough for at least two meals.
Not only is the food incredible, but George and Rula are two of the kindest humans!! They catered an office holiday party for us & everyone raved about the food! So good!!

We've catered with Gorgeous George's a few times now for staff events and I can't speak highly enough of their food, service and generosity. George and Rula are so kind, and make you feel like family just after one phone call.
The food is delicious with generous portions, with plenty of leftovers for us to enjoy for the next few days (no complaints there!). The variety and selection is great, as we have to accommodate many dietary restrictions. The feedback I got from our guests was overwhelmingly positive, with many going back for seconds and thirds.
Ordering was easy with quick response times and flexibility as we had to change the date of our event just two weeks out from the original date.
I had friends working at Gorgeous George's 20 years ago in high school! With a changing city landscape and small businesses and Seattle institutions constantly closing their doors, it's a testament to the quality of the food and service that keeps Gorgeous George's a staple in the Greenwood neighborhood.

Just went there tonight. We ended up there by accident due to another restaurant being closed, and it turned out to be the best thing that could happen. I can't believe it was our first time. Best Mediterranean food I have ever had. The mint dressing was to die for. Super fresh, tender meat, great flavors, and tons of food. The owners were super nice and made it a fun experience, also. Definitely an amazing treat and we will going back!
Haven't been here in a long time and was surprised to see that they were doing takeout only (unless you have made arrangements ahead of time). Thankfully, Rula and George took pity on us and let us in. From the salad to the meal, everything was amazing. The day before, I allowed myself to be swayed by reviews at another Mediterranean place in Kent. I decided that those reviewers have no taste buds. George's food tickles your taste buds and makes you wish you lived close enough to have it every week. My only regret is that we had no room for dessert.
