We came here for brunch and Gracia delivered. Service was friendly and not intrusive. The food was executed well. We ordered the Tlacoyo con huevos, a burrito bowl with lengua, and a pork belly taco. The pork belly was my favorite - it was crispy outside and tender on the inside. Pricing is a bit higher than typical Mexican restaurants. However, the quality of the food was top notch. Will definitely come back again.

Went here on a recommendation, drove from the peninsula and we were not disappointed, great food, great portions, great bar options, service was excellent and for the atmosphere and food/drink quality the pricing was fair.

My partner is Peruvian, and we have struggled to find tasty, spicy Mexican food since he moved to Seattle. The hot sauce made at this restaurant finally hit the mark for him: It was spicy with heat that builds, and the spice was matched with interesting, complex flavor that kept us coming back for more.

My partner and I weren't just impressed by the hot sauce itself, but also how it paired with each dish. We ordered the black garlic sikil p'ak, queso fundido, enchiladas suizas, campechanos and barbacoa de res tacos, and finished it all off with flan and churros for dessert, and the flavors of the hot sauce paired extremely well with every single dish. The dishes themselves were all standouts on their own, as well - we were impressed by every single one, which doesn't tend to happen when we go to restaurants.

The customer service was also fantastic: My partner makes chicken tinga at home and had questions about the tinga on the menu, and our server not only provided detailed and thoughtful insights into the flavors of the dish, but was even able to get my partner a small sample so he could try the tinga himself. The tinga itself, though not what my partner was looking for, was complex and flavorful and delicious - reminding me of a sweet mole - and though he did not order it this time, we will likely order it the next time we stop by.

Overall, we give this place 10/10 stars. We can't stop raving about how great a time we had, and we will definitely be coming back!

“3% fee retained by the house“. Just add it to the food items good god. Tacos and masa were excellent.

Opened the door to the bathroom and got smacked in the face with a Lysol paper towel from one of the cleaners trying to shoot it into the bin. Unprofessional.

Gracia in Ballard is an easy five-star spot for Mexican food in Seattle. The vibe is cozy and lively without being too loud, and it feels like a great place to hang out with friends or go for a casual date night.

The food tastes super fresh and flavorful, and the prices feel very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Their tortillas are made to order, and you can really taste that warm, fresh-made difference in every bite. The tacos are big, loaded with fillings, and honestly, a couple of them can be a full meal.

Their in-house sauces are awesome. They are really flavorful with just the right amount of kick to level up anything you are eating. I also loved their hot fruit punch. It’s a perfect cozy drink on a cold Seattle winter night.

Don’t skip dessert: the churros are unique and super good. They fry them in a donut shape, make them fresh to order, and serve them with warm chocolate sauce. They have just the right amount of sweetness and are the perfect way to finish the meal.

Gracia was the perfect place to celebrate a birthday on a dark, wet and windy Seattle night. The ambiance was warm, cozy, and inviting. The food was excellent. Our server was kind, helpful and informative. Her suggestions were spot on. We loved the tacos and house margarita!

As someone who is from Austin Texas and now lives in Seattle, the Mexican food offerings available have been…subpar. No longer! Gracia has transported my tastebuds to home and I’m so so happy. This is finger licking’, slap your grandma, god bless the chef kinda good food.

I got the barbacoa and the pollo tacos and the chips and salsa with the rojo salsa and I swear, my jeans might need to be one button looser, but I’m still sitting here ordering the Churos because I am in heaven.

If you’re from below the mason dixon line and find yourself missing good Mexican, go here. If you’re a northerner who knows how to appreciate a back of tongue tingle spiciness , go here.

Actually, if you have tastebuds, come here.

Goddddddammmmmnnnnnnn it’s good.

Top-tier authentic mexican, warm atmosphere, fast service. Maybe the best we've had in PNW.

In-house chips are delicious and generous, and the habanero hot sauce is perfect. Well-balanced salsas and sauces, great portions, juicy meats. Drinks are delicious. Very broad mezcal list.

Don't miss the Barbacoa tacos.

I visited Gracia in Ballard yesterday and was genuinely impressed. I was surprised at how truly authentic everything tasted, it reminded me of home. It’s hard to find real Mexican food in Seattle since so many places lean toward Tex-Mex, but Gracia is the real deal.

I ordered the huarache, a taco, and a michelada. The taco was soooooooo good, handmade tortillas and a generous amount of meat. The michelada was the best I’ve had since my last trip to Mexico. My boyfriend ordered the Menudo and it was super flavorful as well.

Overall, amazing food, great flavor, and a spot I’ll definitely be returning to. Highly recommend!

Stopped by on a whim. The atmosphere is nice, server was fantastic. Now the food…that’s where we were left dissatisfied. We’ll start with the good: the chips and salsa are fantastic. Now the bad: We ordered the carne asada which comes with papas bravas. We ordered the meat cooked medium, and we got medium well. This is a pet peeve of mine so I wasn’t so thrilled but at least it was still O K as I didn’t feel like sending it back. Whatever the sauce under the meat was saved it. Now to papas bravas…this item clashed so so much with the meat it felt like they shouldn’t be served together. It was very jarring to my taste buds and just not a good pairing flavor-wise. Also they just were not good at all. We left them untouched. Underwhelming food that is NOT worth the price, but great service.
