I'm a local but don't eat out much, and boy am I bummed I didn't try this place out sooner!
we got the onion bagel with tomato basil spread and the garlic bagel with salmon spread along with the mocha latte
my husband liked the tomato basil spread better and I the salmon (the smoky flavor profile hit) but we both agreed the onion bagel was the better of the two.
the mocha latte was also really well done
the service was so nice! everyone was so nice and sweet 🥰
there was plenty of seating too! I regret considering going to portage bay cafe - this was such a good, close spot for us
I will be visiting again!! see you soon grateful bread 🫶🏼

I love the grateful bread ❤️. The employees are wonderful and so it the atmosphere. My favorite things to get are bagel sandwiches and cinnamon rolls. The cinnamon rolls are to die for!

This place is fantastic. I have gotten some lovely scones (the seasonal flavors are a nice touch) and macaroons from time to time, but my favorite item to get here is the bagels. The flavor variety isn't huge, but the bagels themselves are baked excellently and they have some great cream cheese to go with them. I come in every few weeks to get another dozen; this place is now my go-to bagel spot. If you like bagels and are in Seattle, you should visit Grateful Bread.

I finally arrived when the line wasn't too long and was able to buy their delicious Chocolate Croissants! And of course the twice baked almond croissant.

Food and all was very good in flavors.
Portions are small.
I ordered the chicken salad sandwich. It was absolutely delicious yet only about 2 and half bites and there wasnt any more chicken salad.
My mother had the the turk cran sandwich. Very good again with flavor yet again barely even any turkey.
So I give them high marks with flavor. Just when I order a chicken salad sandwich. Id like some on my sandwich.

Great cozy little bakery that's relaxing to stop in and enjoy a coffee and a pastry. They also have sandwiches and salads and homemade bread loaves.

Everything is good here! Seriously. But the Mediterranean quiche is probably our favorite, and the cinnamon rolls are dangerous — you go in for one and probably end up eating a dozen. Definitely worth a visit.

Got a pumpkin walnut muffin, was very bland, hardly any pumpkin nor walnut.
Same went for the peanut butter cookie, which was more like a sugar cookie with a hint of peanut. What a let down.
