Sad to hear this place is closing. My wife and I would stop here after long flights home on our way home from SeaTac airport. The perfect welcome home meal. Makes me sad to see it go.

Sadly still boarded up due to rampant drug use and crime in the neighborhood that Seattle enables, but so glad we checked it out as the food was delicious. I had the lemongrass chicken, which was exactly what I was craving. Friend had the combo vermicelli noodle dish. Both were fantastic and nice portions. The owner / staff were incredibly kind, and I was loving the early 2000's hits they were playing. Will def be back to try more menu items. Don't let the boarded up windows keep you from enjoying! (And shame on Seattle for allowing this to happen.)

Authentic Vietnamese food with good service. Interior should be updated by now as it's a bit run down. Great food though.

Secretly, Green Leaf serves the best Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai in West Seattle! Kill three birds with one stone. Not all heroes wear capes. But this restaurant may own one for all I know. ?‍♂️

Green Leaf is a Seattle/Chinatown icon. STILL LOCATED ON 8TH STREET, this incredible Vietnamese restaurant has some of the best food, freshest ingredients, and kindest owners in the business. There is a reason Green Leaf has withstood COVID, but they aren't out of the woods yet. Green Leaf needs your business and deserves your business. Please get down there ASAP and support this legendary eatery. When you drive up, you may think they're closed, but they aren't. Just make sure you call ahead. Chinatown has gone through a lot over the last few years with the homeless issues pouring over into the neighborhood, and again, the fear over Coronavirus has slowed things down, but no matter. YOU MUST GO HERE. Save this amazing restaurant and protect its owners. They matter. Thank you.

worst place having banh xeo here??I ordered one banh xeo(it huge) and they made two, charged me two ofcourse. They put pork meat which hard as rock and two piece of shrimp with a bunch of sproud??. It didn't worth the price at all. Hope this place cook some food that people can enjoy.

Ordered from their menupages but we never received the order. We ordered takeout but the restaurant was locked and no one responded to our knocking on the door. Calling their number is unhelpful as no one picks up and you can't leave a message. We will be calling our credit company for a refund. Terrible experience! We will never try to order from here again.

Ordinarily this place has the best Vietnamese crepe in town. The last two times I have ordered, they have cancelled my order after a half hour (i.e., when my food should be delivered). It is disappointing and doubt I will offer service there again.

Wow, did I find a gem. Really tasty. It was worth learning how to navigate / use the light rail. Spring roll were tasty and fresh. Bun ga was great, chicken was well cooked and the flavor was great.

Personally I’m a huge Vietnamese food fan and Green Leafs pho didn’t really stand out. The pho was average at best, but the combo vermicelli bowl was really great. I’d say this is a solid spot if you live in the area but would not go out of my way to eat here.

The food was cold and not appetizing in any way. Honestly I’m not coming here again. Maybe there struggling because of COVID but any other reason then that is just an excuse for bad cooking and false advertising.

This food was not very good. My vegetable pho ordered with beef broth tasted like nothing. I don't think broth was made from scratch (and I might have been served veg broth). Husband's food was pretty good. We wouldn't come back but it sounds they they must make good food normally, we just had an unlucky day.

I always order the same food every time i go here: Vermicelli Noodles with Spicy Lemongrass Chicken, i love it! The seasonings just went so well together. I hope they can keep their food quality. The Rice Noodles and Pho Beef Soup are also good, but they’re a bit too oily for my taste. Their small bites appetizers are also delicious.

LESS THAN ONE STAR. The pho on the menu was $11 next thing I was charged $14.86. I opened the food all it had was a 3 strands of thin meat. With a very small portion of protein and a fish ball cut in half, two thin slices of tendon. The portion was not even for a child. RIP OFF. The taste well , salt and water. NOT WORTH THE DISHONESTY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Ordered the pho dac biet, or special pho... Didn't even get half of is supposed to be... Tried calling but no answer, granted by the time I got home with my to-go orderb it was 815. No rare beef, meat ball or tendon, just few slices of beef and some tripe.I know places are struggling but when you also get not so fresh food, kind of makes it hard to come back. Vegetable for the rice special was dried and aged, whereas the pork blood cubes were so foul smelling you could see they were a few days old and were likely the last of the batch.
