Food is fantastic and we love the service! Price is great as well and the quality is fresh. We love the display and the large portions!

Food was fresh miso soup some of the best I've had and I usually don't care for it. We had two rolls, and it was a lot of food. I found it to be kind of pricey, but good quality food and a lot of it. the restaurant itself is a little dark and hard. It didn't feel like a sushi place but I gave it four stars because the food really was outstanding.

Service was extremely slow on a not-so-busy Friday night (we were one of the three tables). Food was tasty though.

The sushi was good, I’m not really a fan of super big rolls diameter wise and these were definitely big, but the was good quality. I would recommend smaller rolls and more spicy options.

love it! such a hidden gem! Love the jazz music. Love how relaxing the place is. Love their service. Love how not crowded it is. The sushi is nothing special. But the price is fairs. the unagi combo is so good! Don’t get afraid by the price. Although it’s almost 50, but it’s a combo for two ppl and their portion is quite huge. I finished the unagi in three meals. But I feel you can at least eat them for two meals. So full! But so safisfied. Only cons is the parking if you don’t live nearby. Also you may not even notice that this is a restaurant as all the nearby stores are sporty goods. They don’t have a clear sign to show you what they provide.

Two of our party ordered a Sapporo, which is a classic Japanese light beer. 10 minutes later the beers finally arrived, they were warm. Need I say more!?!?!? Ok. I will. Food was brought out in a seemingly random order, they missed a part of our combo meal, and they were seemingly auctioning off extra sushi rolls to all the tables in eyesight. I watched a young couple come in and sit down on the ground waiting near the hostess stand. After 15 minutes of waiting without any acknowledgment, I watched them stand back up and walk out. It was a chili march day in Seattle and after asking for the door to be closed it was re-opened 20 minutes later by one of the chefs (the waitress agreed it was cold). End of the day, food was pretty good so 2/5 stars. BTW: unless you're trying to feed a small village, do not order the greenlake combo. Cheers.

We walked in at 8:15 (45 minutes before they're posted to close) for a quick meal, the waitstaff stared at us from across the restaurant for 7 minutes before coming over to tell us "sorry, we closed at 8:20, maybe next time come back before 8:20."

Such a cute place! Would be a good date night spot for sure as they have more intimate seating. Their bathroom is like a maze to get to but not an issue just kinda quirky. The service is phenomenal! Our server was so great and attentive. The sushi was awesome! We had their sushi "pearls" which is kinda like sashimi. Presentation was impressive. Really enjoyed this place and would definitely go back.

It was pretty easy to find street parking and the restaurant is airy with plenty of tables. Except the table is relatively small and the plates are big. The Nigiri combos definitely is enough for two people as the portion is big. The fishes are the usual ones (salmon, tuna, yellowtail, eel and scallops) I wish they add a bit more variety but the presentation is so pretty with the flowers. Was not too impressed with the sushi donut which is a bit hard and messy to eat and it's not cheap. The sushi rice was dry but the raw fishes were fresh. Overall the staff can be a little more helpful by providing tips on how to eat the sushi donut and explain the special of the day.

My partner and I made reservations for this past Valentine's and had a really nice time/dinner! When we arrived at 4:30, it appeared the reservation wasn't needed with only one other couple there, but within 30-45 minutes the place quickly filled up. When we were first seated, there was only one server and he was solo through half of the busy rush as well, until more people (a lot of trainees it appeared) clocked on. Despite that, he had a very gracious and helpful attitude and was as prompt as one could be attending upwards of 4-5 tables on his own. If something was forgotten once (like the barley tea), he'd immediately rectify it upon one reminder and it was hardly a detriment to the evening. The rest of the servers who occasionally came by to check on us later were great as well. The food was delicious! We got the space needle combo with the sushi 'pearls' and 2 specialty rolls (salmon delight and King Kong) and it was all more than enough food for 2 people. The rolls are BIG! But not so big they're unenjoyable to eat. The tsukemono was a really nice addition as I love fitting in veggies with my dinner, and they gave us complimentary edamame as well (this was half cold/half warm which was kind of weird but not gonna knock free). Hardly had the room for it afterwards, but had to try the monaka and yokan as it's super rare to find those at any restaurant. All in all it was a near perfect experience; I'd almost wish the rolls were still sliiiiightly smaller and maybe a dollar cheaper, and finally the tables and chairs are not very comfortable (there was also nowhere to put my purse but for the ground). The decorations are a little strange/don't seem to have a specific theme but that's more me musing than actually caring. Would absolutely come here again.
