When on walk-about in the Sand Point/Laurelhurst/Winderemere neighborhood, I needed an afternoon pick-me-up, so I stopped into Gretchen’s Place for a coffee. The café was very cute and cozy. I ordered a double espresso, which was made quickly. The espresso was good and the service was great!

The young lady working up front yesterday morning around noon was so sweet, patient, and accomodating. Great drink recommendation with the Mocha, perfectly sweet and flavorful. 🤌🏽 Coming here every time I'm im Seattle 🙏🏽

It’s 2025. Time to take down that silly barrier between customers and staff.

Delicious chai!!!! Plenty of parking and lots of nice outdoor seating options in addition to some indoor tables. Art inside & out. The pastries we got were also good; we would come here again.

The cappuccino was tasty, but the prices are a little high. Man, why does everyone charge $1 extra for oat milk? It's cheaper than regular milk these days! Tasty coffee though, didn't realize I missed the old style 2nd wave super foamy capp, it was a delicious reminder of days gone by.

Great café with delicious coffee. but the a woman working there whom I believe was the owner, was astonishingly disrespectful and mistreating of the workers. She was yelling and insulting at a young girl who seemed to be trying her best and to be honest it made me regret supporting her business.

London fog was too watery. Used to come in summer for Italian sodas but stopped after finding pieces of paper in my drink. Think I’m done with them.

Lovely staff, great espresso drinks, pastries and snacks. Haven't tried the sandwiches yet but looking forward to it. Pro tip: the high chair is in the restroom!

Kid-friendliness: High chair is stored in the restroom and early to get out to your table.

Two drip coffees and one piece of walnut bread were $17.50. Give me a break
