I applied here and had a phone interview. They said they would let me know by email in 2-3 days and just ghosted me. Very unpleasant and unprofessional experience.update: after not responding for over a week, I IMMEDIATELY got a reply back from Hailey after posting this review.The email said that she was out of office because of a family death. She said because this review I wrote was “extremely disappointing and hurtful” they will not proceed with my interview.I left a review because you ignored me, you did “ghost”me, however much you want to put quotation marks on it. If it was a special circumstance, and I’m very sorry for your lost, YOU are the one that should apologize for the delay. Trying to make this my fault and saying that I’m not going to get an opportunity to interview because I voiced out my frustration is hilarious, and only proves the lack of professionalism.

I live nearby and have been meaning to check out this creative coffee shop. It did not disappoint! The staff was super friendly and was happy to provide recommendations for a first-timer. There were so many options, even for non-coffee people, like me. I ordered the Dragon Breeze energy drink and a Blazing Bagel Pink cookie. Beautifully crafted!

I just got a coffee from here and ordered the Toffee Mocha per recommendation from the barrista. The drink is awesome, which makes sense given the people behind the drink. What a great way to start the say. Great coffee made by great people! I recommend pre-reading their menu or asking for a recommendation from their signature coffee list.

Awesome drinks, comes with candy and the service was great! I would get these drinks everyday if I could. And the food is also delicious. I got the sandwich and was very pleased.

Pulled up at 7 am, girl named Mandy was working, I ordered a drink and 2 food items, I was asked to move to the second window so that she could take the order of the person behind me … and before anything from my order was made, she helped the customer who came after me … BEFORE ME, basically had me wait so that she could make his coffee, and when I confronted her about it she argued “he comes everyday” they show favoritism and discrimination here! Most normally when you pull up to a drive through, you don’t have to worry about the people behind you getting their order before you ,.. but at Grounds Seattle they do … so if you want to wait for a long time and deal with disorganized people go to Grounds Seattle, they’ll take care of youParking: They have 0 order and organization when it comes to their drive thru, you enter from 2 sides, which means you can basically cut people, and when they ask you to loop around, they’re asking you to wait so they can attend the the customer who came after you …. Business model has a lot of issues

More people should know about this place! I ordered a latte with macadamia flavor and whip. It was so smooth and easy to drink. I plan to come back and explore the menu more. They use a local roaster BTW ?

I can't say enough great things about Grounds Coffee (Shoreline). Emma, my weekly barista is fantastic. Not only does she make the most amazing drinks for me each Friday but she also is the sweetest, kindest human. I appreciate her being a real human, talking to me about my life, her life and everything in between. She is not just a barista to me, she is also a friend. So thank goodness for this Shoreline location for bringing me weekly happiness even on the hard work days. The whole team is amazing but if you are looking for someone special to brighten your day look for Emma. :)
