I’m super picky with raw fish, and this is the best fresh poke I’ve had in Seattle.
I came back multiple times for the scallop and I will come back again and again.
The portion and quality have stayed consistent over the past year I’ve gone, and the service is super friendly.
Love, love, love this place!!!!

Ok I love tiny restaurants and this one is a perfect hole in the wall with great food. With my mates we ordered the 7 piece salmon sashimi which had way more than 7 pieces, the spicy salmon onigiri, creamy butter corn ramen, and the unagi hand roll. All really delicious. Fast service too!

It’s good quality but they only gave 5 small pieces of fish. Got the spicy miso salmon bowl.

Delicious! I got the Ahi Poke Bowl with the crispy chili sauce and it was soo good. Perfect flavor and texture combinations. Very sweet staff too.

Very nice staff but the fish didn’t give me the right feeling, my body was telling me to stop eating otherwise I might get sick. There’s better poke options around

This is mostly a counter service to-go place. DO NOT expect to sit down, especially with a big group. But you definitely get your money's worth. Their chirashii in particular is an excellent value. Lots of fresh fish arranged beautifully at a good price.

The salmon bowl and bento box were great. We specifically enjoyed the curry.

I would skip the hand roll and musubi though. This is where I took a star off. They look chunky, but as you bite into the musubi or hand roll, you'll be wondering where the spam or fish was. The photo is deceiving and looks like there's a 1/4" of spam and egg, but there's barely 1/8" in there. Same with the salmon hand roll.

Gyo Gyo En bento box was unbelievable! The fish were super fresh and everything that came with it tasted amazing! We’ve ordered Osaka Style Pork Katsu Curry Ramen, loaded with umami and it’s pretty amazing too! The noodles could be cooked a little longer to my preference but I know to ask for next time. Came here on a Thursday at 6pm and there’s no wait. Take note that they have limited indoor seats. The lady who served us was friendly and made sure we’re enjoying our food. If you’re looking for a hearty Japanese food at a reasonable price, this is your spot!

My husband and I were visiting Seattle looking for authentic Japanese curry. This is the place! My husband lived in Japan for three years and he said this is the best he has had in the States. You will not be disappointed.

The fish quality and sweet shrimp was fresh, and I enjoyed every bite. However, for this price, I would prefer more fish in the boxes.

Only complaint would be fish bite size. I know it is personal preference but I would say most pieces were almost 2x what I would want. Pretty small complaint. Food was excellent. Would recommend.
