The rooms are very comfortable, clean and relaxing. The lobby, the library and reading area are very nice and well appointed. The staff are professional and very attentive. The windows open to let fresh sea air into the room. The whole club feels like you are indeed staying in a private, safe club. Hoping that the 3 food venues extend the hours later in the evening especially on the weekends. Once again, a very nice stay...the place to stay in Seattle.

Great accomodations in the heart of Seattle. Walking distance to Pikes Market and Space Needle. BEST is the access to a lap pool, sauna, spa, hot tub, steam room, and several other luxuries not offered in your typical hotel.

Really enjoyed this place! Was in town visiting for 8 days for a wedding. I would have absolutely given this place a 5 star review if not for a couple things. First off yes the hotel is slightly dated but that’s not a big deal, it adds to the charm of it. I had upgraded to a “premier room” which was supposed to have “decadent honor bar snacks, Automatic evening turndown service which was supposed to include various amenities and linen spray, etc”. None of which I received as housekeeping would not enter the rooms the entire time I was there. I’m not exactly sure why I had to pay full premium room price for things that didn’t even exist. Also my mom who was in town with me for a wedding booked a lower category of room than me and had stunning water and skyline views on a high floor while my “premier” room looked at the rooftop of another building on a lower floor. Kind of a rip off being charged more money and not really getting anything “premier.” Also the bartender at Hagerty's was seen several times taking the glass he was about to make a drink in and scooping it into the ice bin. That’s a huge no no. Not sanitary and not to mention what would happen if a glass broke in that ice bin. The staff really is what make this place great though. Everyone I encountered was absolutely lovely and I absolutely would come back here in a heartbeat. I just wouldn’t spend money on a “premium” room again.

The WAC cannot be beat for service, comfort, amenities and convenience. Our family comes to Seattle mostly for fun, and sometimes for business. We have stayed at more than a few hotels in the downtown area (Sheraton, Westin, Hilton). None compare to the WAC. We look forward to our next getaway.

The place is completely chill. Original art, gym was open at 5:30, hot coffee in the lobby. And in a great accessible downtown location. And I took the 550 bus out to the cultural void of Bellevue for business.

Have to be a member to get in and it doesn’t clarify that on their google business details. Doesn’t really work when you’re from out of town…..

What a perfectly lovely stay. The WAC is my new go-to when staying in Seattle. It has it all, and more! Excellent location, quality comfort, quiet, amenities, and ambiance. My first visit was a very pleasant surprise. Well done WAC!

The room was spacious and comfortable, though the placement of the outlets was a little strange -- would be helpful to have one by the desk so my laptop could charge there. There were so many options for lighting with both curtains and darker shades on the windows. There was a water station and a large trash can on each floor so you didn't have to keep food trash in your room. The concierge was also super helpful for local recs, including what places were safe to walk to at what hour.

The Washington Athletic Club was a fantastic choice for our weekend getaway. It is centrally located, about 10-15 minutes via Lyft from Kings Station, where we arrived by train from the Portland-Vancouver area. A short few blocks takes you to the Seattle Art Museum, Benaroya Hall and Pikes Market. The accommodations were excellent. Not only does it offer a full spa area with gym, pool, and whirlpool for women on one floor and a coed one for all on a different floor, it has wonderful restaurant options ( 2 restaurants and a cafe) as well as a coffee bar and library. The atmosphere is chic and classy, much like a boutique hotel but very affordable. (one does not need to be a member of the club to stay here). Our room on the 12th floor overlooked the skyline with a view of the water and mountains in the distance. The amenities were perfect-lots of room and spacious windows, a small refrigerator, Keurig, ample closet space and comfy beds. The staff at the main desk were kind and gracious when answering our questions and providing extra blankets when we asked. The staff at the restaurants were equally excellent in their professionalism, service and friendly demeanor. The food was outstanding in taste and presentation. All in all, we had a very positive and delightful experience.

From easy nearby parking, to quick easy check-out, my wife and my experience at the Inn on the night before my birthday was first rate, exceptional. No sense of a large hotel, the Inn has the calm of an exclusive club, professional, friendly staff in every important public face location, rooms fresh, furnishings confortable with good work/reading space. Haggerties is an upscale sports bar, Torchey's a bit more formal with a good kitchen. Prime rib +++. Highly recommended, will return.

Pros: First class accommodations. The staff is extremely professional and helpful. The room was very nice and the bed very comfortable. I will try to stay again when I travel to Seattle. While a little bit expensive, the in-house restaurants were great. Cons: The WIFI is terrible and there is very little cell service at the property and in the rooms.
