I recommend coming here during happy hour to get the $2 shucked oysters! Fresh and delicious. The roasted bacon oysters was dry so I added lots of lemon or I recommend just going for the raw oysters.

We went for happy hour and had a ball! Our server was fun and knowledgeable, and the fries were so yummy. And who can resist $2 oysters these days?

Wow! We capped off our Seattle adventure with a stop here...amazing service, outstanding oysters, and a wonderful selection of local drafts.

Of the whole weekend, this was the spot...we left asking ourselves, "why haven't we been coming here the whole weekend?"

As a service provider myself, I really value customer care and kindness but customer experience here was not the best. As I walk in the hostess did not welcome us or give us the time of day. I probably thought she had a bad day but as I was standing in front of her waiting for her to give me attention, she did not acknowledge my group and I. My group and I are from out of town and walked in at 3 for the happy hour. As we were seated the hostess did not smile at us so it was awkward and made us all feel uncomfortable. Our waiter then comes and just gives us a bad vibe as well, he answered our questions with attitude as if I also wasn’t worth his time. I remember his name but I just hope this review can give the manger some insight on how some of her customers are being treated. Based on other reviews seems as if we all had the same experience.

We ordered the roasted oysters and the sliders. Food was good for happy hour. The atmosphere was nice and clean but I personally will not be back.

Came in for the happy hour at 3pm. Our waiter came up and gave us attitude like we weren't worth his time or effort. We got the half shell oysters, roasted oysters and shrimp patty slider. The oysters were good, the roasted oysters had too much bacon that it overpowered the oyster and other flavors, and the shrimp slider is only worth it during happy hour prices.

Happy hour menu is incredible. Loved my server she was great. Price and quality of their oysters were great. The coconut cake was surprisingly amazing and the atmosphere is comfortable with nice big open windows.

Delicious oysters during happy hour from the hood canal area. A really nice vegetal taste and the fries we got to go with it were very nice. Matt our waiter was really nice as well as the blonde hostess, great staff! The vibe of the place is also nice, especially for the belltown area.

I wanted to like this place, I love seafood and the location and atmosphere were cute and it def has potential but I wouldn't go there again as it is now. the oysters were great, the clams ok, I'm sure the other food is fine. the cons, the music was really loud (for suppertime at 5pm) but also very bad, I had to ask them 3 times to turn it down, by the 3rd time the manager came over to me to let me know they couldn't turn it down (?) and also touched me on the shoulder, it was harmless but please don't ever touch people you don't know, as someone with sensory issues it was just kind of a bizarre experience and didn't really contribute to a pleasant or relaxing sensory experience where I could peacefully enjoy dinner and a conversation with my friend. also our waiter with the ponytail was not very friendly and just seemed annoyed. I know I sound like I'm 80 and I'm not but I just expected a more pleasant environment for $60+ per person.

Stopped in at Half Shell for their happy hour after visiting Pike Place Market. I went specifically for the $2 oyster special. The oysters were all fresh, the service was friendly and the restaurant was nice and also quiet enough to have a conversation.

Taking off a star because when ordering a “shucker’s choice” option I really expect as a minimum that the server would tell you which oysters you’ve got on your plate and point them out and maybe provide a little two word description about them… briney? Sweet? Creamy? Just at least the basics. Maybe I’ve been spoiled by smaller, more intimate restaurants with a different level of service, but if you’re right next to the ocean and a huge fish market, serving fresh seafood - i feel like that’s not a lot to ask…

Oysters gritty, crab frozen, scallops and pawns lackluster. Smoked cod was pretty good though, as were potato rolls and fries.

Just moved to Seattle and was looking for a place to eat oysters. Was surprised to find out how pricey it is here so was excited to learn about their 2$ happy hour. I ordered 12 oysters. The waiter just slammed it on my table when they were ready and left without saying anything. He seemed rushed, which was surprising as there weren’t many costumers.I decided to ignore it as I was really excited about the oysters. As soon as I tried the first one I realized something was off,the waiter was nowhere to be found and he didn’t check on me until much later after my prolonged staring so I ended up asking someone else where the oysters where from. Was told it was either Vancouver or Oregon.I decided to blame the odd taste on the fact that I normally ate the East Coast oysters so it’s understandable that these were different. I kept eating thinking that I need to start getting used to the taste as I now live here but it was really bad. I did briefly mention to the waiter that they weren’t great too which he was surprised to hear.I never tried to get out of paying so after paying my bill I decided to leave and take my disappointment home.I wasn’t gonna write a review but a few hours later I started having the worst imaginable diarrhea, which is an extremely rare occurrence for me.I only had a fresh croissant in the morning prior to the oysters meal so I’m sure they are to blame.I am now convinced the oysters didn’t taste weird because they were from west coast, they tasted bad because there weren’t fresh and clearly there was something wrong with them. I will not be returning to this place even though they have the best happy hour deal in Seattle.Such a disappointment.
P.S. I also tried their scallops and those were pretty good, plus they waiter was a little more attentive after my evil look so I added extra starts.

Junior, the bartender, made our night. Zach, the manager, checked-in on us. We had the best experience. We were only in Seattle for 5 days and ended up coming back 3 times because of these two. Food was good, drinks were better, but the service from these two are the reason to keep returning.

The atmosphere here is absolutely stunning, creating an inviting and memorable experience. However, the feeling of being closely watched throughout the visit was a bit unsettling and just enough to make me reconsider returning. If you’re on the hunt for an incredible espresso martini, this is definitely the place to go—just keep in mind the attentive oversight.
