This is a review only for the pop up. My family and I have currently been here for 1 hr 28 minutes waiting for our order. We were allowed to place the order only 30 minutes after we arrived. If the restaurant is incapable of handling such crowds, they shouldn't have pop ups. There's just ONE person working in the kitchen -that's just not workable.

I drove 2.5 hours just to visit this restaurant, and it was absolutely worth it. This has officially become my favorite restaurant, and I’ll definitely come here once a month. The kebab was the best I’ve ever had, even better than in Turkey. Wishing you continued success! Also, the lady who owns the restaurant was very kind. Thank you!

A very memorable dinner. It was delicious.
Seems like a very high-stress environment for staff, so I wonder if they need to regroup and plan for a busy night, but in terms of interacting with us, they were all lovely.
Thanks!

We always have a great experience at Hamdi. Every time we visit, we enjoy trying the new dishes and cocktails on the menu. The food is delicious, and the pide and steaks are absolute must-tries.The service is excellent, and the atmosphere makes the whole evening even more special. Highly recommended!

Very delicious! Small portions but packed with lots of flavor. Wish I had taken more photos of other things we ordered but we ate before the camera did.

I am sorry to leave a bad review because I can see how this restaurant could be managed better but the treatment we received last night was unacceptable. Unfortunately we keep hearing different bad experiences from different people, indicating serious management problems.
It would not be fair to say anything bad about the food because everything was fairly delicious (which we could have enjoyed better had we received a better treatment). The portions are small and expensive but that's not a surprise for a place that claims to be a fine dining place. However, how can you be a fine dining place if you treat your customers disrespectfully and rude? We had a reservation for 5 people but in last minute we had one more person who wanted to join us. They have this weird policy of more expensive set menu for 6 people, which we were not interested for; but fortunately, a couple of hours before our reservation, we could book a table for 2, just 30 minutes after our reservation time. We were not being dishonest and at the door we told them that we were expecting someone else for our second reservation and when that person comes in 30 minutes, one of us would join to that person at another table. We were told that it is fine, so we sat down, ordered some food and drinks to start with. When our last person arrived, the owner showed us her ugly face and told us that we were being disrespectful by intentionally not following their policy. I told them that we booked a second table because we had vegetarian friends who did not want to opt for set menu including all the meat products, but she roasted us like a highschool principal, and did not give us the second table that we had booked.
This was a shame because 1) you lost a customer on the spot, 2) we didn't order more food and drinks because we felt bad after this treatment 3) you lost a bunch of future customers.
I respect your efforts to serve excellent food, but you need customers, you can't treat customers so rude. There are various ways to accommodate customers. Showing an angry face and accusing us for being disrespectful for a miniscule thing should be your last option. Your behavior is being disrespectful to customers.

Super greasy food, low quality and unreasonably expensive. The only plus is the atmosphere/design

Great atmosphere. Good service. Great presentation. Really Small portions except the steak. Higher prices than most restaurants in the area. Lamb is spicy. Hamdi is similar to a fancy NYC restaurant.

Excellent food, superb ambience and friendly staff. The menu is mostly a modern twist of turkish/anatolian cuisine. The ingredients were fresh and the dishes were super well-prepared. The wine list is thoughtfully selected.
Two areas of improvement, we had to wait a 10-15 to get our table, in spite of having reserved a table. Also, the signature cocktail (bebek) was pre-mixed and poured from a barrel which affects the experience...
