Food was 7.5/10, kebab was 9/10, and the cook on all the meats was perfection. The seating despite a reservation was not at par, and felt cramped like an afterthought. Didn’t feel it was the right place for a special occasion. The owner was really sweet and welcoming though, and made the experience a lot better and even got us a special dish. This restaurant was on my must visit list for a very long time maybe that’s why it was a let down.

We had a fantastic meal and will definitely be back to try more dishes.

Incredible food!! Would highly recommend the Turk-bone steak that is cooked over a wood/charcoal fire. A little smokiness and cooked to perfection. All of their dishes we had were absolutely insane. I especially loved their ali nazik and cig kofte starters too. The kebap, their signature dish, is a must try as well. Highly recommend.

Great experience at chefs table. Food was a modern take on Turkish food . Really good

We’ve eaten at Hamdi several times. I enjoy their dips, but the kebabs are far too fatty for my taste. For my husband’s birthday, we ordered the dry-aged steak—it was disappointing. Most of it was fat, and it was overpriced. We’ve had better quality cuts and flavor at other nice restaurants for less money. Overall, Hamdi is just an average restaurant with prices that don’t match the quality.

I thought that the food was fantastic, but the service was disappointing. Anecdotal experiences are anecdotal.

Arrived 10 minutes early for our 7pm reservation, did not get seated until 7:15, and then sat for 30 minutes desperately trying to flag down our server. Did not get the opportunity to place an order until 45 minutes after our reservation began.

Once we did order, the food started flowing almost immediately and we had a great time. So it was just a rough start, but frustrating for a place that makes you deposit $60 per person just for the reservation to get started 45 minutes late.

I believe our server was the co-owner(?) Katrina and it appeared that she was too busy managing other servers to check on us. She was clearly busy and working hard, but it impacted us.

Food was great, but in Seattle fashion, very expensive. Small appetizers are $25+ and you’re supposed to order multiple of them.

I don’t regret going but likely won’t go back.

Staff was helpful and welcoming. The food was amazing. The lamb kabob....perfection.

Phenomenal Turkish food with a modern twist.

Come here for fine dining, don't come here expecting traditional Turkish portions

The food at Hamdi is excellent, executed elegantly and with the precision of a starred establishment. The turkish influences come through from menu to flavor to presentation to create a truly unique and special experience. The live fire kitchen is a marvel to watch and adds a depth to the flavor that is hard to find. Highly recommend all around!

3.5 stars. Second time dining here. We had the cig kofte, pide, kabob, another dish I don’t recall the name of, tiramisu, and cocktails. All were okay but far too overpriced for what it is ($300 for two). We celebrated a birthday and they just brought out a candle only so it wasn’t very special. Service is sloppy. We had three different waitresses during our dinner and they don’t communicate with each other so a lot of repeated questions. Overall, okay dining but would not come back.

I have had two terrific meals at Hamdi. Tonight I went there with my family. We tried ten dishes between us, as recommended by the owner. What I love the most about the food at Hamdi is how unique and flavorful everything is. The tastes are so wonderful. The owner helped us choose food that was gluten free and dairy free for my sister and didn't have raw garlic or onions for my mother. There were a number of servers who were quite helpful. The only thing that kept me from giving all five stars is the music was too loud.

I was amazed by how well they were able to accommodate my gluten free and dairy free needs. The taste sensations were complex and exquisite! Truly one of the best dining experiences ever. My husband and I are both good cooks and eating out is often disappointing. I can’t even begin to imagine how to prepare all of the dishes we tried.

Hamdi is outstanding in every way: wonderful food, attentive service, great ambience. On the expensive side, but definitely worth it. Our out-of-town guests were blown away.

Hamdi is a perfect spot if you want an elevated experience. All aspects of the restaurant are considered. The service was great, the vibe inside is perfect, each dish was unique and delicious. Excited to come back and try the rest of the menu.
