there aren't enough superlatives to describe the experience at Hamdi. Exquisite service, outstanding flavours and a minimalist wine list come to life in this dimly lit gastronomical treat. Order everything on the menu, as the one dish you choose to skip, might be the nights outstanding star.
Nothing else in Seattle like it. Food was great, not too pretentious, they know who they are and the food speaks for itself. Definitely recommend. Ps. Call ahead to reserve your steak they sell out quick!
Best restaurant in Seattle, hands down! The food is consistent, well thought out, authentic and just delicious. It is pricey but there is a lot of care put into combining the high quality ingredients with the numerous spices and flavors. Can't wait for our next visit.
We dined here last night. It was good. The waiter was prompt and a little pushy. He told us there was one steak left and it was a ny strip. He sold us on that. We ordered it and what came out was an overdone porterhouse, dry and tough. The mezze was wonderful. Really good there. After the mezze it took a while for the other courses to come.
The food and service at Hamdi were simply amazing. We had never had Turkish food and our waiter helped us pick out several small plates and a steak. The flavors of all the dishes were all so unique and flavorful. We will definitely be back!
Flavorful menu with well-curated flavors and choices. Excellent service and multiple staff touch points during meal. Warm and inviting environment, friendly and engaging service staff. Everything that makes a memorable evening dinner was superbly crafted.
An amazing experience with delicious food and impeccable service. It's great for a special occasion or a fancy date night.
food really was great, but the overall experience took away from it. after i had booked the table i received a text asking to move my time earlier, okay not a big deal, but the person i came with said the same thing happened to her as well a month before. there is such a focus on getting you in and out in a certain time that there isn't the opportunity to just enjoy. staff was friendly, but asked us to move to a communal table after already ordering drinks. then after eating we had one more cocktail and they brought the check immediately. came by five times to see if we had put out our cards to pay. just wanted to enjoy our meal, conversation, and finish our drinks. felt rushed and pushed out the door. i should have been writing a paragraph on how good the food was...
Everything was so amazing! Such unique dishes full of flavor and incredible cocktails too!
I didn't read reviews before making my reservation. The restaurant is interesting in that , except for the high price steaks which we didn't have it aims to take Turkish street food or food that would be found in Turkish workingman buffets and reinvent them at a very, very steep price. That's why we give the value you get a t Hamdi a one. The server suggests that a meal consists of 5 to 7 plates-- for two your tab with a beer and glass of wine will run close to $300! While the chef is the real deal the spices used in these dishes are aromatic and spicy. There is nothing to clean the palate between courses so unfortunately, everything starts tasting the same. Two other comments. If it is a special occasion, they will make a big deal about it. It was my birthday but.... they do not offer a complementary dessert or small after dinner drink. We ordered pistachio ice cream to share and it was one small scoop at $15! Also a 20% service charge is mandatory and then there is a written plea on the bill to tip the staff beyind this... I wouln't go back and suggest you think twice,

My husband and I enjoyed the ambience, great service and the delicious food but we thought the steaks were overpriced. We got a ribeye steak that was $129! We also got the Pida, and Kereviz. Very unique and flavorful dishes.
This is one of the best restaurants I've tried in Seattle in terms of taste, cleanliness, and customer service. I just want to pause for a moment to say that the food smells amazing and tastes absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this outstanding restaurant. We paid $, but the food and service are worth every penny—especially if you're a true foodie.
I so wanted to give Hamdi a fantastic review and was really excited to try it, but unfortunately too many things went wrong right from the start. I received an email a few hours before my reservation asking me to come 15 minutes earlier, and later received a text asking me to confirm that I would be there 15 minutes earlier. I was worried that if I didn't comply, they would determine I was too late for my actual reservation time, so we rearranged our schedule to arriver earlier than planned. This was a special occasion, so while I rarely splurge on expensive dishes, I ordered the Ribeye Steak ($140). I was mistakenly given the T-bone steak, and while I should have noticed, I don't order either often enough to be familiar with it. It wasn't nearly as marbled as I was expecting, but it was okay. My server forgot to bring me a glass of wine I ordered, so when the server returned (after I was half finished with my steak), I mentioned the wine and was told I would be comped for the wine. Then I was told by another server that I had mistakenly been served the T-bone instead of the Ribeye, and it would cost an additional $20. They "made this up to me" by comping me a $17 wine. Over charged for something I didn't even order and didn't really enjoy. Charging an extra $20 and comping a $17/glass of wine did not leave me feeling great about Hamdi. Overall, I really didn't think the food was in line with the pricing. We need more Turkish restaurants in Seattle, so I'm glad Hamdi has a following, but had I not been disappointed in so many ways, I would have given a much higher review.
We had a minor personal emergency and had to leave dinner early. The team was so understanding and kind and let us order some of our food to go. It was delicious and we got to enjoy the rest of it at home and it was perfect. Looking forward to going back soon.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Hamdi. Food was superb; wait staff was very attentive; decor and ambience were great with our only complaint being that the music was too loud.
