It gets really busy at times, but all the employees are working to keep up with it & still being nice to every customer. The bubble waffle was so good! It’s a big waffle for less than 6$. Will definitely be ordering more from here after I finish exams as a treat.

There's a matcha latte with strawberry and I just requested no strawberry. She said the drink was not possible to make.... but I've had it before and felt she just didn't want to make the drink. No apologies just a flat out, "not possible". My friend got the drink and it's just strawberry jam at the bottom.... I don't understand why I couldn't have had the drink. I didn't want a discount and I would even pay for boba if it was portion they were concerned about. This is also the loudest Happy Lemon I've ever been to, and dirtiest. The chairs were scattered on the left side toward the register with dirty tables. It felt like when you go to a public restroom and are unsure which dirty stall you'll settle with. Nobody could hear the cashier over the music in there, had to constantly lean over the register and ask for her to repeat. Just realized that the hours listed are till 9:30, there is no reason why the staff needed to put the chairs upside down on the tables like they were closing. They weren't closing, and we left because we thought we were being rude just by coming in late. On the way out, the rug caught on the door because it was misplaced. We had to close the door and physically move the large rug to exit. As someone who has been to all the Happy Lemon locations, I would just recommend a different location entirely.

After waiting in line for 15 minutes they tell us that for the bubble waffle we need to wait another 30 minutes!!!!!Someone had to notify us that the wait is 30 minutes for service.Leaving a few kids to run your business is dumb.Who waits 45 minutes????

Disclaimer: I only came to try the wheel cake It wasn't good. The shell pieces were cold despite me actively waiting, and the pastry wasn't sealed together at all-- the moment you bite into it the filling came out the other side. A huge disappointment. (Not rating it the one star it is because I doubt most people come for this.)

Long-time boba tea drinker here and I have only just discovered the bubble waffle! My wife and I were at University Village and feeling peckish from running errands. Dinner time was still a few hours away and we wanted a quick bite. The Happy Lemon caught our eye and we were intrigued by the bubble waffle, which seemed to suggest a different taste sensation than regular waffles. We ordered the original bubble waffle and two boba drinks. The waffle was really good, with a crispy shell and soft interior, and much lighter than a regular waffle since it’s bubble-shaped and hollow inside. It came with a sweet creamy dipping sauce, which complemented it very nicely. The boba drinks were very good as well. We were very pleased to discover the Happy Lemon and will definitely be back. And I will try the memo pancake next time!Parking: Some street parking and a large free parking garage.

Went here on a busy Sunday afternoon with a friend! Loved the liveliness and the atmosphere ❤️ Particularly liked the mango matcha smoothie & salted cream bubble waffles!
Was being dragged around uvillage when I caught a glimpse of wheel cakes being auctioned off, I was so excite to get my grimy hands on one that I instantly threw my credit card at them and I obtained wheel cake. Once I sat on the ground outside I took a mega bite and got it with the blandness of wheel cake. It was not what I was expecting so I involuntarily spit it out on people's shoes where were walking by. Maybe the cakes aren't for my tastebuds pleasure but overall good experience except for the people's shoes I painted red.

First of all, happy lemon is a fad that is way overrated. It is an unhealthy drink place with a lot of synthetic ingredients and sugar.The staff here is extremely rude and disrespectful to customers.I ordered here 8/18 Friday 6 PM. The asian-looking female cashier is really rude. Very impatient and rushing, judgmental, and seems to be especially condescending to asian customers. I was only spending 5 seconds to decide on a drink, this female cashier then said to me:"Do you need a minute?". Oh what, I need to step aside if I do need 1 minute to order? When I asked for a sugar level adjustment, she said "You cannot adjust blablabla". First of all, customers are not making the drink, so it is not the customers who cannot adjust the sugar level but really the Happy Lemon staff cannot adjust. Instead of sounding superior, she was expected to be respectful and should have said" sorry, we cannot adjust blabla" to take the responsibility rather than telling the customers what they can and cannot do.And eventually they got me a wrong drink after all this bad attitude. Not recommend!

The most kindest people ever! I thought the drink I got was too sweet so I wanted a completely dufferent drink, they remade it free of charge! Not to mention, the workers were really nice about it!The reviews who claim that the workers are mean are all wrong. The people who leave those reviews should work on focusing on themselves and their attitude rather than attacking these hardworking, friendly employees. Will visit this location again!
