We went by before the game to get food and drinks and Ryan C made it worth coming back. Thanks for a good time!

I sat with Ryan Callaghan at the bar. He was funny professional and extremely knowledgeable. Very cool dude Pretty sure he’s an Eagles fan though. That part sucks. But everything else about his service is impeccable.

I really enjoyed my time there. I’ve lived in Seattle a long time and this was my first visit. I’m not a huge Mariners fan, but I decided to go to the game and had a great experience with Ryan. This guy knew more about Baseball than anybody else I’ve ever met which made my experience even better heading to the game.

Ryan at the bar was great!!
Along with around 50K other Mariners fans going to T-Mobile Park to honor MLB HOF Legend Ichiro, my buddy and I showed up to Hatback about 2:30 pm Saturday to grab an early pregame meal. Maybe not all 50K fans were in the place, but it was jammed. Despite the crowd, Hatback’s hostess team calmly managed the waitlist, gave us an expected wait time, and promised to text me when our table was ready. We cruised next door to Victory Hall (no relation), had a beverage, and watched the baseball games on big screen televisions. 20 minutes later, I got the promised text and we returned to the restaurant. Got seated immediately, and our server, a cool dude named Boston, got us squared away with more beverages. Ordered popcorn shrimp, fries, and Rockfish and chips. Even with the kitchen being slammed, we got our chow pretty quickly, and it was excellent! Boston is a superstar server, and Hatback’s kitchen crew deserved serious kudos for delivering great food! This was my second visit to Hatback Bar and Grill, and it’s easy to see why baseball fans pack it on gameday.

Went before a mariners game. It was crowded , food came out a bit slow but totally expected with how busy it was.

Ordered a beer and it never came. Pizza was mid at best. Really bad service. Do not recommend, it’s certainly a Mariner-run establishment

Waited 15 minutes and got no service at our table. Multiple servers looked at us and we got no acknowledgment. Pretty wild and unprofessional.

This place was highly recommended by a friend so I went and although I had a disappointing first impression , management assured me this is not the standard they set or expect! In hindsight I think everyone can have a bad day or conversations can be taken out of context so I'll admit I may have been wrong to judge by first impression and look forward to going back in the future! Shout out to Teresa the General Manager for reaching out and making sure to address the situation. With management like that I'm looking forward to giving it another go in the future!
Tony is the best! Fantastic service, fantastic food!
