Excellent chicken. They know how to make American fried chicken. 10/10 recommend, better than Ezelle’s

It use to be a good deal. But now at almost 20 dollars for small tender meal, a smaller small side and a can of soda. It’s a rip off at best. Should have stayed at 13.99 that was worth the value.

Loved the food I was amazed with the quantity. It was a good amount. My only regret is I didn't get more BBQ sauce.
Parking: The street it is on was very busy something into the parking lot was difficult due to traffic. It could of just been rush hour.

😡Was miss informed over the phone by this place. Called and inquired about peach cobbler feeding 4 adults. Was told to purchase single servings for $6 each would be more than enough for Thanksgiving dinner. Drove 33 miles to this location and was very disappointed. Servings described over the phone was large portions that there would be left overs. When i arrived, i asked to see my order noticed they were very small kid size snacks not adult size 🙄 and decided not to buy it.
Lessons learned, they will tell you anything to get your money 💰...big disappointment and a waste of gas money and time too!

Dry, bland, expensive chicken. Mashed potatoes was a small dollop in a sea of gravy. Roll was ok.

The chicken is definitely not worth the price, and the lady at the front was somewhat rude as well.

The Best in the Northwest. The restaurant was clean and the environment was inviting and friendly. The best chicken and peach cobbler of all. If you want quality food for a very reasonable price stop by the Lake City restaurant and check it out. Ezell Stephens, the founder, will even come out to meet and greet you. Finger lickin, lip smackin' delicious.

I was so excited to finally get some of this amazing tasting food… I mean Oprah signed off on it, the Diner dude signed off on it … finally after months of waiting to make the drive, My husband and I drove 2 hours for this amazing looking and tasty chicken. We got to the location around 2:30 and yes, it’s smelled sooo good!!! Ordered the large order of fried chicken gizzards, fried chicken livers plus the 8 piece chicken, an order of collard greens and of course the peach cobbler … Spent almost $100.00 but that was no issue because I was sure this was going to be the best ever!!! The service was amazing but not so much the food served… The chicken was sooo dry, my guess is it was sitting since noon by the taste and texture; the collard greens did not taste fresh nor did the peach cobbler. The fried livers were so overcooked and horrible tasting; the gizzards were at a point of almost cooked too long as well. The bread rolls were the best part of it all. So basically we paid $100. for the 8 rolls. What a disappointment! Definitely not heaven sent and Oprah and the diner dude need to remove themselves from the hipe!

The crispiness is exactly how I like it, but the flavor is just not there. The chicken tasted like there were no seasonings at all. The fries had no salt. The slaw was good.

This is weird. The talk of this chicken is weird. I tried to order online. That didn’t work😳. Drive over and the building only had Hispanic people working (appreciate y’all for working hard and no disrespect), it super expensive (sure it’s because of Oprah W spill). Recipe must be different than when she ordered her food ☹️. The potatoes and gravy was a lump with hot gravy on top. The chicken was basic. Absolutely nothing special and absolutely no seasoning. Taste was very basic. I’m a southern girl and needed that soul food seasoned chicken and I didn’t get it. (THIS IS NOT ABOUT any ETHNICITY or RACE. ITS ABOUT HERITAGE OF SOUL FOOD AS IT IS ABOUT HISPANIC FOOD). I want to go to a shop that people know the seasonings and ingredients of their specialty. I love Hispanic food also. It truly seemed weird to me and the taste is not there for me. I guess I’ll get my behind in the kitchen and do it myself y’all 🤪. Thank you guys for the kind service as well.
