Decent prices and pretty good. I had to go again and buy the big spicy scallion cream cheese. đŸ„° line also goes fast!

This place had a very long line so we were hesitant to go in but the line goes by very quickly and once you get in there the experience is very simple. Just point at the bagel that you want based on how it looks. And a half a dozen is only $19.50!

Quite possibly the best bagel in Seattle. They cook continuously throughout the day, so it was still warm from the oven. Ripping and dipping the bagel in schmear was surprisingly delightful.

You are joking. A cold, unsliced, un toasted bagel with a half ounce cup of cream cheese on the side!? Having a pastel colored logo does not make you a good business it makes you a trendy one. I feel like opening a bagel shop and taking their spot in the village because LITERALLY ANYONE CAN DO BETTER. You served me a leather wallet with a drop of cream cheese in a plastic cup, thanks $10 đŸ’©

super tasty bagels: perfectly crackly exterior and fluffy/chewy interior! do note that they’re meant to be unsliced; you rip off parts of the bagel to dip into cream cheese; and they’re meant to be eaten asap. on weekends, the line can be around the building.
the slight gamble you get coming to heybagel is getting ice cold bagels that have been sitting around though. sometimes the bagel you choose will be cold and a bit stale. they don’t toast/warm bagels, so you kinda get stuck with a cold bagel and cold cream cheese 😔 this has happened to me and/or my friends a few times.
despite that, i would still take the gamble again because 7/10 times they’re warm, delicious bagels. i probably wouldn’t wait in a long line though.
other details: no seating inside; some standing counter space available; but you can find seating right outside in the uvillage courtyard. they serve anchorhead coffee here.

Best bagels in Seattle. Time your visit strategically, they're sometimes very busy with a lineup out the door but other times just a short wait.

Vastly overhyped. Bagel was fine, but not warm and the interior is a bit gummy. They refuse to slice and don’t toast. I understand a no-toast policy so as not to hold up the line, but refusing to slice is just annoying
especially as I was the only one in the store at the time. Mt Bagel, Old Salt, and Backyard are all better experiences in my opinion.

We love Hey Bagel! It was a quick (and delicious!) bite for my husband and me while our son was at Children's for a week. The staff were friendly, the bagels phenomenal, and the spicy scallion schmear is top notch. While we don't live close enough to visit regularly, will gladly visit whenever we have a hospital stay! Thank you Hey Bagel for being a bright spot in our stressful week!

I’ve been here twice now and both times been super impressed with the quality of bagel.
My first time I got a plain bagel and the raspberry curry hot honey schmear which was insanely good and the perfect amount of sweetness. Bagel was hot out of the oven and so so good.
Second time I got a salt bagel with the spicy scallion schmear. Really good as well! Bagel was not hot but it was still soft and chewy and delicious.
Keep in mind: their business model is fresh out the oven bagels so no toasting, and your schmear will be on the side for you to tear your bagel and dip as you enjoy.
$5.74 for a generously sized bagel and schmear - seems like a fair price

The bagel (salt) was delicious warm and CRISPY. That said, they served me a tiny container of cream cheese with it as if we were at a hotel continental breakfast bar. They didn’t split the bagel and I fear the staff is a bit frosty. Maybe I’m just a cream cheese monster, but the lack of cheese and attention to detail made me feel like I was interacting with airline stewards on spirit air and begging for the bare minimum. But yeah the bagel was SO good.

The bagel seemed fresh but they don't slice the bagel for you, and the cream cheese portions are small with a pretty bland flavor. It's an okay spot, but be prepared for a very DIY experience.

The bagels are great but the raspberry curry schmear is to die for! Go there on a weekday morning before 9:30 to avoid the lines

im from the east coast and this is the closest you’ll get to a new york bagel around here. it’s less than $5, warm, and chewy, compared to a $20 bagel sandwich on a grocery store bagel everywhere else in seattle. sometimes i just need the simplicity and affordability of a good ny bagel. too bad they sell out so fast 💔 for everyone saying there’s “no seating,” this place is in the center of uvillage which is an outdoor shopping area with many seating options.
