DO NOT BUY THEIR LOX!!! The bagels at Hey Bagels are our favorite in Seattle. That said, I bought their lox for the first time today and it was disgusting. It literally tasted like mold and didn’t even taste like salmon. I couldn’t spot it out fast enough and it was the worst excuse for lox that I’ve ever tried in my life. As a 60 year old Jew from NY, I have eaten a lot of lox. The employee also charged me for one more bialy than I ordered (didn’t put an extra one...
Bagels were awesome! Some of the best. Bialys were ok but I wouldn’t get again. Had to wait for bagels to come out of the oven. Atmosphere was loud and line seems to be long all the time. Staff were doing their job but I wouldn’t say they were friendly.
Settled in the heart of U Village. This relatively new bagel spot has already garnered high praise and recognition for their bagels. They offer poppy seed, sesame, salt, plain, garlic and something called a biali flavors.
The lines can be long at times but dont give up it goes fast.
