Family style fish, good for groups, quick service. This used to be called Joyfish, and this is a similar format with slightly different options.

Best Crab, Sticky Rice and Fried Rice that We have ever had! The Staff was very friendly and gracious. We can't wait to try another dish!

Loved the Xiamen style spring roll, and the crab on sticky rice was pretty tasty too. Food is flavorful and not too heavy, which suits me well. The staff is also very friendly. This is a famous chain from Xiamen, a coastal city in China, and the dishes I tried lived up to the reputation.

This Hey Ming is the same one Xiamen, Fujian. I am from Fujian, and this restaurant definitely reminds of the taste of my hometown.Recommended dishes: Xiamen pancake wrap 厦门薄饼, black pepper dice steak 黑椒铁板牛肉粒,noodle in sauce 卤面,shrimp in shacha sauce 沙茶虾仁.The dice steak is super juice. It comes with the hot plate while it's sizzling. The pancake comes with variable dishes to wrap with, and it provides you layers of flavors.Only down side of this place is the waiting time. It recently opened so the preparing time is a little bit longer. When you finished one dish, you may not have your next one coming out yet. I was not restrict of the waiting time for the new open restaurant. But I hope they can resolve this issue in the near future.

Their shrimp fried rice was spot on and possibly some of the best ones out there in Seattle. The crispy chicken was pretty authentic as well.

This place was called JoyFish before. I think they just changed their name, but the dishes are pretty much the same. I liked the fish in chilly oil. The only complaint I had with this dish is the lack of veggies. Fish was fresh and juicy. Overall good fish and good service.

After eat Sichuanese, Cantonese, and Shanghainese cuisine for years, Hey Ming offered me a different Chinese cuisine style to try out. The flavor of the food is well balanced. Not too light while not too salty either. Surprising to me is that they don't have too many customer for the few lunches I had here. I found their special egg roll unique and interesting. I would recommend people to try it out.

Dropped by for dinner and had the satay shrimp (s) and it was very good. A nice bit of a spice bite and very tasty. I also got to sample the cucumber beef soup and it was tasty. Drop by and give this treat a try.

This place was highly recommended by a friend. We went for a late dinner. My son and I loved the grilled fish cooked in special sauce and spicy chicken from the appetizer menu. Green vegetable was good also.

Wow!! That was some of the best food I’ve ever had! The restaurant was clean and had a very cool atmosphere. The menu was very confusing, but the waiter was wonderful and explained how to order. They said they specialize in fish, so we got the sole fillet (the other fish come bone in). We picked the house sauce, which was very savory. We picked enoki mushrooms, black fungus, and Chinese mushrooms as veggie sides. It was so delicious and so well cooked. One fish dish fed two people so the price is worth it when divided. I would absolutely eat here again.

I came for lunch because I heard the dinner rush is very crowded. Lunch service was very fast andwe had our food before us within 15 minutes of siting down. The signature item is the grilled fish cooked in a giant grilling oven positioned in the center of the restaurant. It is then placed in a shallow steel chafing dish and brought to the table with two Sterno canned-heat under it to keep it piping hot. The sauce is amazing drizzled over rice or noodles. The fish is the best I've tasted in Seattle. The menu is ala carte. I would recommend ordering the fish in column "B3. Pangasius" This fish is served without the head and tail AND it's deboned. NO BONES!! For Westerners this is much easier than spitting out fish bones with every bite. The fish comes with a variety of sauces. The garlic fish is very mild and is not spicy at all. The other menu columns B1, B2, B4, and B5 are all whole fish (head + tail) and have bones. I ordered the "Chinese green Vegetable" which is a big plate of baby Bok Choy. Tasted great but next time I will ask the chef for less oil. I also ordered the vegetable Chow Mei Fun (Rice noodles). It came with scrambled egg in it. It was VERY tasty. Will try the pork mei fun next time. I would also recommend the Aspic with garlic sauce as an appetizer. This is a beautiful presentation of about 12 thinly sliced hard gelatin rectangles with a spicy garlic sauce drizzled over. Delicious by itself or over rice. Eat it quickly before it gets warm and soft. The interior of the place is newly decorated with laser cut metal (floor to ceiling) dividers and actual "bird cage" light. No gaudy red paint, thank you very much. However, the lighting is very dark with one narrow downward spot light above each table so only the center of the table is well illuminated. The rest of the lights are all indigo blue LED mood lighting. Meh.. I like to see my food and who I'm socializing with.
