Attempted to purchase a beverage with cash but was denied. The merchant told me he had closed the till, with 10 minutes left during business hours. I had the money to pay for my drink, this was not issue. The issue, for me, was there is no signage warning that cash is not accepted after a certain hour. He would not allow me to purchase the product with legal tender during business hours. To my understanding legal tender should be accepted until end of business hours unless otherwise posted. Very disappointing. I will follow up with the owners/property manager.

Nice deli-store with a large variety of things to choose from. I like that they are open late which is convenient. The employee was very nice and the store was quiet and clean.

First, you go in there and noticed none of the items have prices. As a consumer, I thought that was weird. All you see are small yellow/white labels with barcodes no prices. They don't even greet you, they don't hesitate to even say thanks. The items I purchase where overpriced. It was my mistake to not go to Han's deli across the street.Lastly, when you pay your asked if you would like to tip, now that's extreme. Tip to purchase a refreshment?Yeah, not going there ever.

Ok if your hungry and nothing else open. I would prefer a subway sandwich over this. $11 for whole or $7.37 for half. May 2, 2023

Predatory prices, items not marked.

Hilltop Deli is a convenient spot for basic necessities and accoutrements in the downtown area. The deli has fresh sandwiches, lots of refreshments, wine and beer, ice cream, packaged foods, frozen foods, and basic first aid and pharmaceutical supplies. Staff is friendly and the hours are great. There is a markup for things and some stuff is probably on the shelf for a while. But it's a long walk to find other comparable inventory so it's definitely convenient for locals and folks in the neighborhood.

The place is convenient and not bad but there are homeless outside harassing people for money constantly, won't go there anymore.

Snobby, And I have never, ever in my life seen and be faced with an (forced)option each and every time you go to buy something at the cashier's stand, where before you can even purechase your items, you "Have to" choose said (forced)option(s) on whether to tip the cashier for taking your money for overpriced items, and if so, the list of different percentages to tip the cashier like, it's so ridiculous, I djdjdj, have no words for that...

I am an MA at the hospital and this guy accused me of not paying. I had to pull up my banking history to prove him wrong. This is the last time I go to this place. 5-13-21Even though the ingredients are fresh the guy making the sandwiches will leave out ingredients. I had to go back to get my peppers and his response was "You should have told me you wanted those, most people don't like it." Didn't apologize or anything. These are the ingredients listed on the menu why would a person have to tell you I want all those ingredients? A person should only tell you if they DON"T want something put on the sandwich. Poor customer service.

Rude, slow, and over priced. The store HANs deli across the street is much better. They're actually fast, not rude, better prices, and is just a better overall store. This store is just an overpriced money grab, also the stuck up attitude and making customers wait forever is sooooo inconvenience, kind of defeats the purpose of being a convenience store. If you want over priced things at little to no convenience, this is your spot, otherwise I advise to go across the street to HANS
