Extremely Disappointed – Misleading “All You Can Eat” Hot Pot
I’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant for many years and have always enjoyed their dim sum and stir-fried Cantonese dishes. But their newly added “coconut chicken hot pot” is a total scam and a huge disappointment.
The menu clearly advertised it as all you can eat, but that’s not what we got. We wanted to order pea shoots and beef balls—both listed—but as soon as we said we’d go with the hot pot, the server went straight to the kitchen without taking our order. He came back with two massive plates of mushrooms and Chinese cabbage (the cheapest ingredients possible), along with some spam and fish balls. We didn’t even get the chance to ask for what we actually wanted.
Of course, we never got the pea shoots or beef balls—probably because they’re among the more expensive items. And once we were stuck with all that cheap filler, we couldn’t finish it, which meant we couldn’t ask for anything else.
Worse yet, the chicken itself was poor quality. The server stood next to us the entire time, closely watching, and urged us to put the chicken into the pot immediately. As soon as the soup started boiling, he pressured us to take it all out, insisting it was ready. Only after we removed every piece did he finally leave. Some pieces were still raw inside. I’ve had authentic coconut chicken hot pot many times in China—I know how to cook it properly. This was not it.
They also brought out a plate of beef slices without asking, and it was so fatty it was barely edible. You can see it in the attached photo.
I genuinely don’t understand why this restaurant is trying to expand into Szechuan and Hainanese dishes when their strength has always been Cantonese food. These new “fancy” items are poorly executed and misleading. I used to recommend this place, but after this experience, I’m seriously reconsidering whether I’ll return.
Great Food!
I ordered whole duck to go, but when I got home there were no legs or thighs. Better not let them chop if you order bbq duck! Probably should question other menus as well, likely leftover from other customers.
Not a honest business! We ordered a BBQ duck today, there is no duck leg in the box, this is not first time missing pieces. We thought it was a mistake last time, but there is not even one duck leg at all this time. My husband said they keep looking at him when he was there. It was very sketchy!
Great food and service. The food is on par with other great dim sum places. The staff were really attentive and nice, especially with our family.
Kept passing by this place and finally decided to try it today. It was super busy but expected for a Sunday. Food was okay, not something I'd come back for. Placed an order for wonton in chili oil and another dish. Waited for 10 minutes and had to remind them. I still ended up having to wait so I just canceled my order when other tables who arrived after got their food before us.

After a long weekend of salmon fishing for the Everett derby, we stopped by to pick up some dinner for the road back home. We had been craving crispy roast pork and shrimp har gows.
When you enter there are steam trays of dumplings on the left and an open area with large tables to the right for dine in.
We were there mid evening so there wasn’t that many people in there. Our food was ready within fifteen minutes .
We ordered the two bbq plate, with roast duck and roast pork. An extra serving of roast pork, the soy sauce chow mein , bbq pork fried rice and shrimp har gows.
The roast pork was juicy and crispy, salty and sweet. A good meat to fat ratio.
The roast duck was fatty and juicy. Dripping with duck juices. Wish there was more duck meat, but overall still delicious.
The bbq pork fried rice was fluffy, and simple but paired so well with the saltiness and fatty ness of the meats.
The soy sauce chow mein could have used a little more seasoning, but I enjoyed the skinny noodles.
The shrimp har gows were everything we wanted. Nice chewy thin dough, with large chunks of shrimp inside. The order came with 4 . We inhaled these. Next time we’re going to order more.
Satisfied our craving. Can’t wait to come back and try more of their dim sum.

This place is great for Dim Sum and you don't have to travel all the way to Chinatown. The food was ready very quick and very affordable prices. We came on Labor day and it was fairly busy. I would take my family here again.

This place has taken a nosedive over the past year. After three consecutive terrible experiences, I’m done. Today’s fiasco sealed it. We showed up at 2 pm for dim sum, only to be told the cart service had already stopped—fine, I ordered four dishes from the menu and grabbed a pre-prepped plate. Nearly half an hour later, one dish (BBQ pork) finally showed up. Fifteen minutes after that, we got our shrimp spring rolls. But after another fifteen minutes, the soy sauce noodles, siu mai, and shrimp dumplings were still nowhere to be seen.
Mind you, we were the only customers in the place. I counted eight servers doing nothing but loitering, and three kitchen staff leisurely eating their lunch right next to us, without so much as a glance in our direction. An hour passed with us sitting there like fools, only to be prompted to leave. Seriously? When I asked where the rest of our order was, they just stared at each other in confusion, shouting loudly but doing nothing. Not a single apology or explanation. Fed up, I told them to cancel the missing items—we weren’t about to waste any more time. And again, no apology.
We left hungry, frustrated, and feeling completely disrespected. This isn’t an isolated incident either—my last two takeout orders were also disasters. I’d hoped that dining in might redeem them, since the food, when it actually arrives, is delicious. But clearly, that was wishful thinking. Now I’m off to find a new spot to satisfy my craving for good Chinese food, because this place isn’t it anymore.
I was there for takeout right as they opened. Wait staff was polite and checked in with me while I was perusing the menu. Once ordered, my dim sum takeout was ready in the estimate they gave me and was bagged promptly.
