I learned that every family's BBH has its own profile. This BBH is made with quality ingredients and a good heart with a lighter flavor profile IMO. I don't have a MSG effect after having the soup. The service is fast and friendly. If I'm in the area, I will definitely come back for more. Pricing is friendly compared to other pho restaurants around CID and not to mention in the Eastside. Parking and another entrance is in the back from the Safeway parking direction.

- This was a small local business, with their best known dish being bun bo hue! It's a small restaurant, with a total of 10-14 tables. Lots of families in the area come here, so there might be a little wait if you come here on a weekend. It was delicious though!- Of course we all (6 of us) ordered large bun bo hues ($13 each). It was a big portion for a good price! You could definitely share this between two people, but don't get me wrong. Definitely beast this bowl on your own if you're hungry. - The broth is delicious, the noodles are cooked well, there are big pieces of liver and the protein is good. I would probably come back again but just with family. Although it does seem like it's not as spicy as it used to be. Maybe catering to a Seattle that keeps getting gentrified? Tragic. But that's commentary for a different website. - I also heard the vietnamese coffee is really good here. I haven't tried it but I heard it was good. - Although I was most impressed by the service! There was one guy running the entire floor.- Definitely stop by and support them if you're craving some Vietnamese soup!

Large menu, entrance in back and front, good pho. Got a small #22 - lots of meat ? they do not skimp on the meat! Was the perfect amount for me. Good array of veggies to pair with the pho. Small set up but comfortable

THE BEST Bun Bo Hue in WA. It's family owned so the service is always good. The soup choice are amazing but you have to get Bun Bo Hue if you come here.

Great food. Very authentic flavor. If you are here for Bun Bo Hue, then you'll have a great time. It is mild on spice level thoughSomething that's pretty unique is the Bunh bot Loc. it's worth a try here. A steamed dumpling with bits of shrimp inside.

Showed up right as they were closing shop, and they still seated me, so if I could give 6 stars, I would.Anyways the food was great. So many different flavors in the soup, sour, spicy, sweet, delicious! And lots of different textures with the proteins and veggies. An amazing bowl of bunbohue.

Hoang Lan is a go-to spot for those seeking a hearty bowl of bún bò Huế. The standout feature here is the flavorful broth, which truly captures the essence of this Vietnamese specialty. Each spoonful is a comforting and savory experience that's bound to satisfy your taste buds. Moreover, they don't skimp on the meat portions, ensuring that every bite is filled with tender and succulent beef or pork. It's perfect for those who appreciate generous servings in their noodle soup. However, for spice enthusiasts, there's a minor drawback. The bún bò Huế at Hoang Lan tends to be on the milder side. While it has a pleasant kick of heat, it could certainly use a bit more intensity to elevate the dish to its full potential. That said, if you're looking for a no-fuss, straightforward dining experience with delicious broth and ample meat, Hoang Lan is a solid choice. It's a place where you can enjoy a comforting bowl of bún bò Huế without any culinary frills.

Hoang Lan Restaurant has the best Vietnamese Bún bò Huế in town. The restaurant used to take cash only, which I rarely go to because of that. Now they accept debit and credit cards as well. The staff and the food are excellent, especially the Bún bò Huế. It's unique, and you can taste it -- the soup is very flavorful! The best time to go is on a weekday. It can be a little hectic on the weekend; it gets crowded and limited seating, so you'll have to wait a while to be seated.Hoang Lan is the place if you want a savory bowl of Bún bò Huế.

The best Bun Bo Hue I have in a long time. Price is very reasonable. Location is convenient ( right next to the light rail). And an appetizer Banh Bot Loc is deliciously chewy n flavorful with dried shrimp inside. Just very tasty

A small local business. Parking can be found in the back. We came here for breakfast one morning, and the service and food were alright. My family ordered some soup and noodle dishes, and they were underwhelmed. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue, which I thought was pretty tasty but not the best I've had. It was super spicy though, I couldn't finish it! We also enjoyed the Banh Bot Loc, since that is not typically served in restaurants where we're from. Overall, we had higher expectations that were not met, but it got our Vietnamese food cravings satisfied for the day.
