Well stocked store, helpful service. If you like to cook, it’s a fun place to browse for both workaday utilitarian items as well as beautiful but functional splurges. Even though they have just about everything, today I happened to be looking for an unusual item and they went out of their way to direct me to a specialty store that would have what I needed … and then they thanked me for trying them first. I appreciate their kindness and generosity and look forward to returning.

This store is a gem. I’ve been coming here for decades. The previous owner walked me through figuring out everything I needed to know to make a spectacular three tiered wedding cake (something I had never done before) and the new owner has kept up the excellent customer service with knowledgeable and friendly advice, and of course their superb collection of anything a home baker could possibly want.

A great store with everything you could ever want for the cake arena. Very nice owner. Feels like a good old fashioned neighborhood store. The way it’s supposed to be.

I visited for the first time yesterday and couldn't be more satisfied with the visit. I needed a box and a few other supplies for a last minute cake request and Dave (the owner) really came through. His customer service is impeccable (I emailed a question and he got back to me right away), he's funny, and offered suggestions to questions I had about decorations on the cake I'm making. I'd highly recommend stopping in here before trying anywhere else. Plus, supporting local, small business is good for our communities.

So so thankful that this shop exists in Seattle. They have tons of specialty tools, decorations and ingredients for cake decorating that you can’t find easily online or box stores nearby. Dave is so helpful and knowledgeable, he always has a suggestion or idea up his sleeve!

The owner/operator was very knowledgeable about what they had in stock and was more than willing to help me find the specific tools I needed to complete my project. Definitely a place where it is easy to leave with more than you originally planned to purchase.
